Does the number of people in the PT matter for exp/sp gain?

(Keep in mind that only 1 person is going to do the killing [making it a Taxi])

well lets say there was 3 people in a PT and their average level was already below the Mob's level (thus, gaining the exp/sp bonus)
if it became a full pt of 8 people and only 1 person was killing stuff would it be worse exp/sp gain than if it were just 3 people?
