wiz/cleric is a waste of time, 1h/warlocks are fun to grind.

I'd make a Wizard first, get him to lv.60, delevel him to 52, buy SoM or Sun Staff, get a pickup pet, and blue a bit its gear (if its full blue with max int on each piece, SoS staff lv.52 is enough)

And I'd start powerleveling on ongs my noob, you'll be able to 1hit pt ongs + you will profit from drops.

im a warrior/lock (1h)

its pretty good, and it lvls pretty fast, not as fast as int, but its not terribly slow as everyone claims. sometimes i lvl even without warlock so.. and its good tanking, i play vsro with 50% holy ward, so even against clerics you can do fairly well.

You can do 1H. you will survive the mobs more, even if the lvl is high. not if you have 9 gaps though.
Plvling an attack fellow is kinda hard :-)

^So you can have lv.60 skills - frozen spear, increased Life Control & damage passives and full 7th degree set.
Reason that he is lv.52 is that you gain drops from mobs that are 20 levels below. [52-20 = 32] - ongs are lv.33 & 34.
Another reason is that you will have less problems with avearge party level.
