Question for all you Rogues out there!

Sup guys,
So I just created my rogue and I have a few questions about this class. I started off using xbow because it does mare damage (-40) and then I plan to switch after lvl 40 to dagger. I am only getting xbow skills atm and I have poison imbue. (I'm lvl 19). My question now is should I get a sub class? I heard a lot of people talking about the "cleric" sub class but is it worth it and is it a necessity? Also how early on should I be taking on skills from the cleric sub class and which skills should I get?

Am I going in the right direction with my character?

At level 40 you get a really useful cleric skill called recovery division, it heals ur HP for 5 minutes, i think it is, and it stays after u switch weapons. You might not need a subclass at the moment but youll get one eventually.

Also about your rogue skills, to be the most effective rogue possible you should look at getting both xbow and daggers.

nah u don't need them yet you can farm sp at a higher lvl to lvl them up if you want

Actually, people are suggesting you to take daggers after level 40 only because they are stronger in PvP.
It would be foolish to grind with daggers instead of crossbow, because crossbow is better in every aspect.
If you want to be great in PvP, you'll have to learn how to combine crossbow and daggers.

About subclass: Cleric is what most people perfer, but there are other variations with Bard (mostly because of speed from Swing March and Noise for non aggro from mobs, but there are other stuff like Mana Orbit or Tambours/Dances which can be helpful in parties if they dont accept Rogue - which in most cases they dont), Warlock (PvP oriented build, mostly for raping in cape PvP - only serious opponent is someone with Holy Word, but you're able to kill even despite it) or Warrior (for more fun and combos in PvP, really versatile build)

About the poison, I don't see a point in leveling it, you 1 or 2hit everything anyway. So it's just a waste of mp & sp.

You will still use xbow for pve. And xbow itself can stand on its own in pvp. The best rogues are the ones with both weapons but daggers aren't needed for lvling. As for the cleric sub, it's definitely worth it, but having both weapons + the need cleric skills is difficult to maintain without farming. Of course, u can go for something with a lot less sp like bard. Warlock rapes anyone w/o holy spell, but also costs quite a lot of sp.
