warrior/rogue or warrior/cleric

My friend is making a new character and he can't decide whether to make a Warrior/Cleric or a Warrior/Rogue. I told him that I think Warrior/Cleric has more benefits, however, I am not sure. Can someone please compare and contrast these two. For example, which one is better at PvP, PvE, trading, guild wars etc. Thanks!

I'd got for Warrior/Rogue, he wont get bored for a long long time...
Great at unique killing, powerleveling, he is even awesome in PvP, but really really expensive build SP & gold wise.

If they PvP I dont know who'd win, I cannot give advantage to anyone.
