Protector vs Garment

So I figure with garms being so expensive on my server and never more than 1 page to look through I would try and go protector..since people are selling last tier protector hands,boots, etc..for like 5-15mil each.

My question is would a full str bow with double knockback and snow shield do pretty good against pure ints still, in protector?

Thats only on Mercury.
Im 96 bower in garment, I got prot set too, pretty damn good one with sox parts. I pvp few ints and it was hard in prot, imposible against 94 s/s with sun sword, he just hited me way to hard.
I will make 2 sets anyway, armor set and garment set, since armor and garment are pretty cheap here.

If you pimp it out you'll be fine. Anyone else hate the 10d armor? Its just too bulky, makes your char look fat.
