Question to all about SRO videos.

I've been looking at several entries in the rev6 contest and it made me realize. I hate scream-o music o_O. I have yet to find a single SRO video with scream-o/heavy metal in it that I liked and made me want to play SRO. If anything it made me want to delete my files. The only video I can think of that I like with some heavy metal was Hydralisk's Thief of Heart since it swapped it out every now and than and had some kind of storyline. Other videos i've watched only had ppl running around killing nubs with some guy screaming in the background as music... is it just me or do those videos just suck. Someone show me one that is good please. I'm always open to changing my opinion.

Your kidding... the Shout 2000 one? That was just video that went along with the words.... of course that is better than most others. I'm not a big fan of over-the-top video effects. I'd rather have a video with avg effects but a story or something making me want to play the game. Not a video of a lvl 100 nuking lvl 10s and mangyangs with super cool effects >_<

The only SRO video I'm waiting for is Deity of Sword 3. Hoping it will live up to the rest.

Hmm actually, re-looking at rev6, it did say music video. I guess they meant only one song and a video to match it. Guess it's good work than. I liked the ultimate showdown and Lion sleeps tonight videos. Humorous and simple.

heh well nice job. I always preferred vids with some comedy or storyline.

on youtube search for "deranged sro" or "deranged xian" ..something like that. There have some good funny ones.

o yeah, i forgot about that one. Was a good video. I miss the old 80 cap and earlier videos. Seems like people were more creative with what they had. All the recent ones ( even the ones made by uni mates ) were just pvp videos with some metal or hard rock in the background.

The Hunter vs Thief one made on kSRO i think was pretty good. I liked the pirates of the caribbean theme for the hunters as they lined up.

Same. I would make a vid, actually had a small group making scripts at one point, but I never got around to popping out the cash to buying Fraps. All other free programs I found sucked or used up too much memory to make any good footage come out.
