Legend 4 Notice

This was 5th March notice on SRO homepage but hasn't the Legend 4 Cilent been avaliable to download from SRO homepage even before 5. March, so does that mean as Legend 3 plus that you have to download it again?

So if you have downloaded legend 4 before that notice does it mean it's worthless?

No. It only means that you can't use the 1.80 client until they release Legend 4. That's how it's always been, IIRC.

Maybe you got confused by the part that other sites were actually distributing the 1.70 client which is obviously not the client for Legend 4. Or maybe I got confused someway somewhere.

So, I have already downloaded Legend 4 Cilent and it's ver. 1.180 Right? and Ver. 1.170 is the installing cilent? so this should go same way as Legend 3 plus did.

Litlle bit simpler: If you don't have SRO in your comp, you have to download ver. 1.170 to install SRO and then download ver. 1.180 to update it right?

So installing new cilent goes like this: 1. Download Legend 4 (Ver. 1.180) 2. Wait until 17th March weekly server inspection 3. Run the File you downloaded 4. Start installing Legend 4 5. Update 6. Play ?

Ver 1.170 is the actual client and will be disabled after the installation of Legend IV.

If you are new to the game you have to downlad 1.170 to play now and the 1.180 for starting up Legend IV when it comes out. The version on the game sites is the actual one, the 1.170. The 1.180 version is now available through the p2p on the main site. You find both clients there downloadable through p2p, the 1.170 for starting playing now and the 1.180 for login on legend IV.

yeah i agree to what Taelys said.
Ver 1.170 and Ver 1.180 are two different client installer. If you want to play the new legend IV you need to wait untill March 17th cause the Ver 1.180 only can be installed after this day. And you dont have to install the Ver 1.170 then install 1.180. If you haven't played the game before and just wanna try the new legend iv, just wait until March. 17th, then install the Ver 1.180, then go and play

This sucks!!!! I tried running the 1.17?? version last night and get told that "You need to download the full version" blah blah blah...

That sucked in itself, a 1G download for some minor updates?

Finally the full version is downloaded, I install it, it says "Hey you already got Silkroad, want to delete it?" After clicking yes and getting it to install I start it up.

It starts up and tells me about the server inspection etc but it will not show me the start button.

WTF is going on? Why is Joymax so stupid? How can I get the game to show me the f%^&ing start button?

Ok I found out from the official forum on the Joymax server that even though there is NO indication, the client is downloading updates in the background. You just have to wait an undetermined amount of time for the start link to appear.

Stupid idiots, lets us know WTF is going on and a progress bar.

Nope that's not it either, I checked the task manager, no network activity and no Start button.

Morons can't get anything right.

ohhh at f^&#ing last... it took about 17 starts of the game to finally get the "Updating" indication.

If you don't get the "Updating..." and the progress bar then exit, and start the game, again and again and again and again and again and again and again... eventually it will update.
