SP Farming
Does anybody have any tips for a new player concerning sp farming, mainly a chinese character. I hear everybody tell you to get a SOS bow to farm at bandit stronghold, but what if you lack the necessary funds to do so, like me?
Thanks in advance

Re: SP Farming
Some guilds have farming bows in their guild storage with a bit of luck you'll be able to get one, or you'll drop yourself one from the bandits.
The stronghold farming is very popular because of the very huge respawn rate of the mobs there but basically you can farm at any level. If you don't have the gold for a stronghold farming you can always start a character, make a gap 9 from start and keep that gap till you have the desired amount of SP. You just move from one mob to another during that farm and try to find spots that are not filled up with bots.
Another possibility is to take taxis with your gap 9 character but they cost loads of gold. If you are in a nice guild with active hunters they will probably accept to take you on 5* trades (when you are level 20) so that you can make gold for your taxis.

Re: SP Farming
These days most people get powerfarmed at ongs.
Though, if you want to farm oldschool style like i did on my bower, at the stronghold a good bow is kinda needed yea ^^
Dont know what server you play on, but if you plan on farming on troy (though troy = a server REALLY full off botters) i can buy you one if you like ^^

or does it for free (rare)
farming at lvl 9 gap gets you more skill points (sp) and less experience points (xp or ep) the gap is the difference of your actual level and the highest level of any of your skills

Re: SP Farming
no
When you kill a monster you get xp and sp from the kill. The number of points that you receive are not always identical but depend of the gap that you are using.
The gap is the difference between your global level and your highest mastery. Let's say that you are level 20 and your highest mastery is level 17, you have a gap 3.
The higher the gap the more sp you get from a monster kill and the less xp. So if you are in need of SP the best way to gain some is by starting gapping, collect a nice amount of SP, and close your gap after the SP farm.
There are sp and xp calculators available one of the best is the nivlam one http://nivlam.com/ that allow you to calculate how much xp and sp you need for a certain level.

Re: SP Farming
a sos+5 lvl 16 bow is cheaper then an sos+5 lvl 64 bow. but you get way better drops at the lvl 64 mobs. Besides with the introduction to plvling the ongs gave from the europe side, the bandit farming is all but gone from the china side, will find a few bots there but nothing like it used to be.
With sro you dont have to explore to open the towns as teleport locations, so just grind till you get money to change locations and go to the euro side. you will find more free taxis durning item drop events.

My pride and joy CrazySuby is no longer mine. She is and always will belong to Dutchy.

Re: SP Farming
make it 9 gap only. 10 or more gaps is not advisable, as the amount of SP will still be the same as you would with 9 gaps.
Plvling an attack fellow is kinda hard
Re: SP Farming
no i mean do i have to start a new char or should i stay with my lvl 21 P.s:i dont have much SP atm
