if you are referring to the status such as "darkness" this has no effect as of yet except to deplete your uni pills. Darkness status was presumably going to be implemented in a later update and affect your parry ratio.

Actually, I think Chibib0 is asking either about is in regards to the fire shield buff that claims to give "status error effect" reduction, or the universal pills which claim to cure a certain amount of "status effect error". As far as I can tell, status error effect effects how strong and how long a status effect lasts on you. If a poison effect with a status error of effect of 56 is compared to a poison effect of status error 136, the 136 will take more than twice as long to wear off without you using pills and will deal a significantly higher amount of damage. This would also apply to the burn and electric shock status. In addition, universal pills cure a certain amount of "status error effect", meaning that if you use a pill that has a cure of 56 on a status of 136, you will still be left with 80 status error effect's worth of time before it wears off, and you would essentially need to use at least another pill to cure it, which is why you need to update your pills. Having the shield buff on would then decrease the duration of status effects cast on you and lower the amount of damage they do.

Of course, this is all speculation from personal experience, if someone else in here think that I am wrong and would like to correct me, please feel free to do so, I would like to have my facts straight after all.
