Well, I'm playing a wizard right now and my biggest problem is SP. I only have 1 mastery and no sub(Getting Bard at 4x) and atm, 0 gap and level 24. Should a pure wizard gap a little, and then i'll gap more when I get bard? Also, what is best time to start farming? Thank you. <3

Well every char out there requires farming, the quantity of the farming depends on what skills you are going to use. There are a few ways to farm.
Most people like low level farming, you farm at ongs and the 0gap until capped.
You can also farm at higher levels like caves.
Or maybe the worst of all is to farm as leveling up, meaning to keep a constant gap, but that method is slow and extremely boring.

also the gap you farm with makes a difference
many like the 3-4 gap
at lvl 24 i would not add any skills and make my gap to 6 (lvl 30)
at lvl 30 i would shrink my gap to 4 (lvl 26)
then keep it there till lvl 30 (actual wiz skill lvl)
then let the gap grow to 6 again till lvl 40(or bigger gap if you can)
at lvl 40 close gap to 0, then let gap grow till lvl 42, then choose to go where you want from there

I skipped the lightning skills because they are not so interesting for killing mobs.

Normally I'm gap zero at the start of a new degree (levels 8 - 16 - 24 - 32, etc...), I get my full set and farm till next degree is available and don't level up when there is nothing new available (skill or new skill level) for a level. The farming isn't too boring and I get pretty good SP. From D7 on I buy better robes not the NPC ones or pimp my equipment a bit up.

Give yourself a 3-4 gap along the way and pick select wizard skills.
