Bow sp farm again.

Post by ATMR »

Hey i've just joined SRO and was reading alot and it says to sp farm at low level or pfarm at ongs.

Now im going Bow90/Fire90/Light90 and maybe cold if i hit 90 b4 100 cap comes out.
Using Nivlam i need roughly 750k or so i was thinking of 3 gapping to 60 and then while my skills are at 57, start opening up the gap to 9 until i think it was level 68-69 and then i would be able to 3 gap to 90 with all pach/fire/light all at there proper levels is this ok?

And im new so could that be an option or should i 9 gap at lower levels and i dont have alot of money so i cant pay for pfarm.

TY

EDIT: After reading mister Fudges thing on ice vs light im thinking 90ice/30light or 72ice/48light

Pure STRs are the most annoying things to SP farm at higher levels - and from my experiences with Bows it will drive you insane. Ideally you want to do all your SP farming at Ongs. Here are my suggestions;

First of all, raise a wizard/pure INT Nuker. This is what I did and it's worked amazingly for me. I raised a pure INT Nuker to lvl 80 and now I can use it to pfarm ANY character I want. If you can't be bothered doing this, try collecting elements, selling them in Hotan, and getting enough money to get pfarmed.

There are also a few guilds/acadamies that offer pfarming in order to get their GP/Honor Points up so you might be able to find one of them.

But to tell you the truth? Don't worry about any of that right now. Just pick a character and play around with it for a while so you can get used to SRO. I think 90% of peoples first characters have been forgotten about. Enjoy silkroad for the time being, once you want to get more powerful, then you can start worrying about getting SP.

You can farm at any level, the most important thing is to have "good" mobs to farm on, a monster with a very huge spawning rate but you find them all around the game excepted maybe close to level 90.

It's better not to level up all the skills of your build but to focus on the skills that you really need. To make your choice between the skills take your time to read the guides about your building on this forum. Also remember that if you want a build that is good in PVE, PVP and jobbing it will ask much more skills than a build that is focused on PVE only.

There is a natural way of levelling up, it's by keeping all your choosen masteries at the same level e.g. not levelling up fire to 60 if your bow is only 58. In this way the game puts you automatically in a gap that is suited for levelling up your build.

Good luck with your build, and have fun on the silkroad.

Cheers for the replies guys.

And i might just make that INT nuker because it was a toss up between s/s and the bow.
But i'll just make sure i have fun and level at my own pace. :wink:

If you make a s/s I would say farm after level 30 when you get nukes you get nukes. I have a level 52 bow with an 8 gap I took a break from because I got so tired of running out of arrows while ant the penons.
