s/s hybrid, mistake or good?

hey!

i just made a s/s 1:5 hybrid nuker, and im lvl 30 atm

i wonder if 1:5 is just **** wasted?
or shuld i keep it up?..would my dmg suck at higher lvls?..

or is there an secund opinion, (execpt from making a new)?

if u stay 5:1 ull have a 90% magical balance naked at 90 so its fine
your mp will be 20509 vs 7749 hp
as long as ur sword is decent or good you should be fine

My build
I can say i love it. With my curent gear (almost all is max FB) i have around 13k HP and 24k MP(lvl 87). I am 1:6 hybrid.
I haven't met yet a full int who can kill me. And i am not even using garments. I have good enought dmg using a sword to kill bower and glavie my lvl with pretty good gear. So i would say - go for it. It's easy to lvl up, well... kinda hard to collect the SP, but it's fun and it doesn't die easy. I just love it, and if you like it for now i am sure you will enjoy it later.

hm..cool, but i find it pretty hard to lvl up with s/s , would it be possibol to use spear when nuking and change back to s/s when the mob is coming close?

Don't really see why is it hard. I mean... i have always been a s/s and i have no problems. Nuking, fast lighting and KD+stab...
I have farmed with spear because i found one with 89% mag att, but i was still missing the KD, the snake bla bla series and stuff...
For me it's way more fun to lvl up with s/s
What exactly do you find hard, i am curious?

cuz, i see pure int doing way better dmg on nukes and stuff

so u mean u do not only nuke while grinding?..also using sword/blade skills?^^

I have been handgrinding even with a blade and still I was the one who was always invited for parties. It's not only about the 1-2-3-4-5 nuking... nuking really is boring. If you wanna have fun, i suggest you s/s. Pure or hybrid, you have a shield. The dmg difference between spear and sword is little, if the sword is good it's close to 0. And the difference in the defence is huge. I have almost always been the tank!!! at my parties. Yes, int being the tank along with bladers or even alone where there's no one else. It's also fun to KS mindless bots by KD all the time, good to have it when you see your party is fighting a PG and have a problem - KD gives the pt enough time to regenrate HP and heal.
For me s/s is pure fun, it's way safer (come on, even with the best dmg you lose so much time to go back to the spot when you die with spear xD), pretty good dmg and really helpfull.
Maybe i talk like this because i play it, but i have played bowers, glaviers and some wuros... and s/s is just my
And + you get the best fighting skill along with the coolest nukes - 2 in 1 You can't be bored with that....

I dont know about hybrid but S/s= is a +, unless you have your ice nuke. Need ice nuke to finish mobs. I quit a lvl 32 nuker on a server just because i didnt farm enough to have ice and light nuke. You need the ice nuke just leave at lvl 1 until ice rain.

You don't need the ice, it's useless. You have the lion shouts to finish mobs + the KD.Both work perfect for finishing mobs.

in my opinion a pure int character is for uniques and pve and a hybrid is for pvp. but u can make a good hybrid if u have nice gear on it for both pvp and pve. hope i helped
