quick rundown on critical

can someone give me a quick explanation about critical and then numbers and if u can, an exact calculations on how those numbers affect your dmg (use like 100-150 dmg as an easy base) for physical attack power

i just need some clarification
like compare critical: 3 to critical: 7
i obviously understand that a person hits for a lot more damage, but is the chance increased, how are the crit numbers calculated?

as i every game that i know of that uses critical, it doubles the damage.

With critical 7 you simply have more chances to hit crit than with critical 3. That's it.

With critical 3 u have like.. 3% chance to have a crit..
With crit 7 like.. 7%
Simple as that.

when u hit a crit it doubles ur physical damage
so if u do 100 (no imbue) ud hit 200 with crit
if u do 150 (100+50 from imbue) ud hit 250 with a crit
nuke does not apply to magical skills ie nukes
