Are rogues usefull in parties?

I want to know if rogues are needed in parties. Will they be accepted most of the time or only as a last resort

Yes, I didn't believe it myself, untill some days ago, when I was asked to come in a party at the niya guards. The spawn rate was just too slow for our party, and that's when the rogue needs to do his job, lure the mobs, and in pvp they need to look a bit after the clerics

You forgot scorn, what saved my cleric many times ;D

Just using fast shot u can lure multiple monsters back to party very fast and from out of range compared to any other character's luring capability or attack.
