Can someone please tell what is the purpose of Destroyer Rondos and what it does?

It brakes down equipment into elements and at later degrees (8th and 9th I think) into elements + stones

yes and some weapons give good elements worth more then the weapon so used to make cash.

i just bought 1 destroyer rondo and 1 lvl 32 cleric rod. i press y and i place the destroyer rondo in the slot and the weapon in the slots on the right and i click fuse and nothing is happening :S. HELP please
