Cerberus

How close do you actually have to get to Cerberus, before the storm clouds and such start showing up. Just a few minutes ago he spawned right above the words "Forest of Dusk." While searching for him, I checked right below those exact words, and didn't see him, nor the storm clouds. Yet it was storming when I found the mobs left over that he had spawned.

I can't give an exact distance but its about the same length as the limit of the "1" distance.
