Leegak’s Secret quest problem

well i was doing the quest and when i had about 90 eggs i decided to take a break an went to town, since i needed extra slots in my inventory i put everything on storage. when i went back to finish the quest i forgot to take the eggs i had from the storage, i forgot how much i had so i just kept getting eggs when i had about 50 or i thought i had enought and i went back to town i took the eggs from storage and i noticed i had 151 eggs. then i went to talk with the npc but he wont give me my reward, he said "havent finish yet" or something like that. i tried putting 1 egg on storage but he wont give me reward.
Do u have any idea how to make it work?
btw im newby ive been only playin for a couple of weeks so dont flame me for being nub thx in advance

You'll need to pick 1 more egg, after that it should work, make sure you have less then the actuall quest goal though, else it wont drop..
So lets say you need 100eggs for that quest(cant remember anymore)
You put the eggs in your storage and leave 99 in your inventory, after that you kill bugs untill 1 more drops and it should say that the quest is completed..
