Is Killing Bots Worth the Hassle?

Although I'm just a newbie in SRO, I immediately developed an intense hatred for gold bots that are running around and clogging the server. The easiest way to get some out of my sight is to simply kill them but then I will get the murderer stats and some trigger happy player will kill me right away. Since I'm a Rogue/Lock, I suppose I can debuff the bot so the mobs might be able to kill it, thus avoiding the murder. I still need to level bit more before I can do that though. Aside from an immense personal satisfaction, does killing the gold bots have any other benefits that outweighs the risks?

PS: Any other tips for killing those bots?

Bot traps.
Don't bother with murder status, its not worth it.
If you get good enough you can get the splash off the nuker to go onto you the second the purple runs out making the gold bot purple. However I don't know how effective it is. Only heard of people doing it, never seen it with my own two eyes.

The only way I can see how it would be effective is if more people did it (24/7 and at every gate of every city)
Other than that, it's immensely satisfying seeing a huge line of bots running to you just to get killed.

use job suite to kill them xD

Well… If you are level 25-40, I would suggest going into murder status because EXP comes relatively easy through those levels. When you get to high levels, try to kill the botters by getting two opposing jobs to cast weak, yet high aoe attacks in the vicinity of bots.

no cause they will always keep on comein but at least you are takeing a stand

im not ganna say its not worth it
but bots will never stop

though if you have some free time its nice to just murder a bot

Just drop 1 gold behind an object to get a goldbot stuck, after around 5 or so seconds they'll use a return scroll. beats the hell out of murdering them.

They just keep on comeing...but killing them will sorta slow em down

um depends on your lvl...it's more fun when ur 60+ and your thiefs can one hit them with lightning imbue

but apart from that, it wont really be effective

and yea do that 1gold trick if they are at your grinding spot.

Gold bots forget about them they run the same rout stop the same spot i don't care
BUT player bots this is the fun part i kill lvl80 bots(me lvl73 PK Char) his name is 9Hai euro Xbow and i lost total of 140sp for that but it's make him go away after i kill him i send a msg he never show up again nor reply my msg
