Bard vs s/s nuker

whats best for soloing pve, and faster to lvl for a legit (no bot), a Bard. bard as a mian class or a s/s nuker..... tell me

Having played both: s/s nuker, hands down. The damage they deal per second is about equal, but the splash, shield and pot delay of the s/s nuker make him more effective in grinding. Btw, I presume you consider taking cleric as a sub, or you'll have a serious HP replenishing issue for your bard.

Having said that though: bard/cleric is fun to play, very welcome at parties, and hardly uses any pots. I can grind several hours on 1 stack of them, just by using mana cycle and recovery division. I also don't have to worry about getting mobbed, since noise makes sure I'm always facing 1 enemy at a time (except when champions/giants are about).
