penalty in exp for hunting alone

hi
i red in help that you get penalty if you hunt alone for mobs over 11lvl but question is, do you get penalty if you are in party that is not connected(far away from each other) ?

Ofcourse, you may be in the party...But because you are not near eachother you still hunt alone.

The 2 most common parties are:

(a) XP Distribution and Item Distribution (grind alone party)

(b) XP Share and Item Distribution (pwr lvl party)


In party (a) u get a bonus of 2.5% per person in your party
(which means a maximum of 10% for a full 4 member party)
and, they can train anywhere on the map. They do not need to train in close proximity to you.

In any share party, you need to be within a certain range of other members of the party in order to receive the xp or (more likely) SP benefit. This is why ppl either trace the person doing the power leveling, or they stand in a safe zone, that is within range of the power leveler.

Most power levelers will not make "Item share". This means of course that the person doing the power leveling will get all the item drops.

the third party type is a full autoshare party. it is hard to find the 4 person parties anymore so I wouldnt say its common, maybe pre-euro but not anymore.
