Why Sro is full of botters??

why this all botter???

u know guys i cant login my acc. yesterday for like 6hours and when i get on it stay for only half hour and then DC immediately due to some1 with premium wanna login...

Lol I guess you haven't been on this forum for long. Botters are a HUGE problem on Silkroad. 90% of all the botters are called 'gold bots'. These gold bots are owned by companies that sell In-game gold for real money e.g. you pay them $10 via paypal and you get 10 million gold. These companies make thousands upon thousands of these goldbots and they go out grinding, collecting gold and drops. They sell their drops to the NPC, they make gold. At the end of the day, the bots put their gold in a stash so that it can be sold to everyone who plays.

The other 10% is made up of player bots. These are players who spend money on buying botting programs so that they don't have to play the game in order to reach high levels. They pay the bot company, they use their bot and it means their bot does all the work for them (killing monsters, buying more pots, repairing weapons etc. etc.) while they go out or do something else.

The reason silkroad isn't doing anything about this problem is because right now, they seem to be making more money out of it. The 10% of player bots are more likely to buy Silk in order to buy premium so they can log in faster. Also, hiring more GMs to ban the bots will cost more money - something Joymax aren't willing to do.

Besides, if you ban all the goldbots, it's no problem for the gold companies to make more. Banning bots isn't going to fix anything...

Joymax have tried to put in some stuff to get rid of bots, but most of them failed and they have been withdrawn.

Because there are people so sad they can't even play a game themselves, and because there are companies who decide not to take any action.

Players who are too lazy and dumb to grind a character themselves, and gold companies have bots to grind 24/7 so they make alot of gold to sell to the dumb and lazy people to buy and screw economy.

Players should get a grip, and realise it's really stupid to make a program play a videogame for you. On the other hand, Joymax should take action so that the legit, honest people can enjoy the game.

They waited too long with taking action, now the bot problem is so big that it's gonna take so incredibly much effort to get rid of the bots, if possible at all. On the other hand, legits or botters, they make money either way, so I don't think they really care about the bots as long as they make money.

It sucks, but that's how it is. Either way login 9831471234 times or buy a premium, and see if there's a botfree spot for you to grind.

Also, non premium players won't get dc'ed if a premium player logs in.

Also there arent any place for the people who bots(not gold bots) to bot because all the gold bots are there and like 10 gold bots nuke at the same monster. Thats how many there are. There a lot. Joymax can get rid of the bots. But they just want money. I havent seen a GM in my server for almost a year. Lol. I think all the GM's are fired.
