I've been playing SRO for at least 5 months, and have a stupid question (ok, more than one).
Is Auto-attack useful at all? What is it even used for? Does it simply attack the monster with no skills?
(btw, yes, I've searched and found an answer, but it makes no sense)

Re: Auto-attack use?
Where I found it the most useful is with my bard chr if there is a large party of mobs attacking my tank and I've used a spell to attack it, bards and wizards don't automatically keep attacking after the spell is cast (like a warrior does with a special attack) you have to re-attack by clicking on the damn thing, well if there are 5 or 6 mobs there, you don't want to hit the one your tank isn't attacking and draw it's aggro, so by just using the autoattack your chr will go back to automatically hitting the mob you just used your special attack on.
Others can correct me if they have a better use but I find this the most useful for me.
And don't tell me bards aren't supposed to attack, I can keep everyones MP full and buffs on and still attack and do some pretty good damage.
