If everyone took a 1 month break, no silk, no nothing for a full month, do you think we could get JM's attention? Like if everyone got on the official forum, all posting their guild and members who agree to ban SRO for 1 month. I think the drop in server traffic will def get their attention.

What do you guys think? Could we ever get everyone to ask their uni in every server to hold off for just 1 month? Say pick a date 2 months from now so everyone can use up their prem and pets and whatnot, and starting on said date, we all just quit for 1 whole month...

Maybe than we could get JM to change their way and actually start banning bots and lowering silk, maybe even run the game like they use to.

I'm pretty sure something of this scale hasn't been done before. But if we could just convince every legit to do that for 1 month, there might not be alot of us, but i think enough to make a noticeable change. Besides, what's the worse that can happen, you save money and managed to go out for some fresh air?

it would be a great idea, but its to many addicted out there who never could make it without silkroad one month.

And let Venus legits loose the fort? No way!

If the legits of venus are so much better than mindless botters, having loss the fort wouldn't be so bad. Could even be a challenge to actually try to re-take it.

I think we underestimate ourselves. Considering how many guilds claim to be legit, this would be a good way to prove it. I think if we all stopped for a whole month, i'm sure there would be a noticeable difference. Look at the bot bans. Only 200-400 per server, but now night-time (here) traffic is populated. It use to be 24/7 crowded remember? I think a loss of all the legits would def bring attention to JM... specially if we all call them once a day for that whole month XD.

Another idea was to find some big gaming review website to put up a bad article on JM. I sent some to mmosite, but no response still... i really wish some big game review would confront JM on this.... ppl need to grow some balls ><

while this would be a great idea, but most of the players that bot and golf farm would just simply reply with " who gives a shit i'll bot and make more accounts for myself and more gold " that's why i simply stopped lol, selfish i know but it's one way to stop the traffic for more people to play

Yes, because SRF makes up the majority of the silkroad users.

And then what about people who join the game during the "ban". How would they know to stop?

And what about non-English players? Everyone knows that English are minorities in SRO.

Hell, its an awesome plan but, its not perfect.

If a big gaming site cant do it, a few legits cant.

Negro, Thats because their botters, and are not capable of their full potential on their character, they have no skill. Just bought gear from their gold companies.

The botters of Venus suck balls when it comes to being competent with their builds; they're half as smart as the botters than the server I was on before I went to Venus. I'd have to say most of the botters of Oasis had skillz menz; even the worst of them were better than those on Venus XD.

The most players cant leave sro for a day and you talkin about a whole month?!

knowing joymax, they will do nothing, they could wait for a month

good idea, just not feasable,

just as an example, with the price of gas what it is in the states
there is always a call to not buy gas on this day or that day
it never works, it only hurts the gas stations for that day
not the one who controls the price of gas

for joymax, so they dont make (lets say 10% to be generous) for a month
they know they will make it up later, they will come out with something new that you will want to buy, and that you will be back
and if not, someone else will step up and take your place

Now the idea of getting a bad game review, now that has more potential

What about the crash bug in hotan? You know, the one that the dude who got scammed was using. If we all started using that and emptying Hotan then surely server traffic would decrease and it would get Joymax's attention ^_^ Then we could post on their forums that we'll continue to do it until they fix their game. I'm sure its illegal, and you'll all frown at me for suggesting it, but it's one of the very few plans that could actually work.

Yes, a lot. For example, a GM play 0~1 hours a day, coz he is busy, and he doesnt bot. Or am i wrong?

but for a GM it's not playing, it's working. so you are wrong

It would fail because of many reasons previously stated.
-too many addicted players that bitch about when servers are down for like 3hrs...something along this lines ...OMFG.WTF...why are servers still down...so yeah they can barely handle 3hrs let along 30 days lol.
-Only small % of this forum makes up SRO, and some that post here don't even play, a lot that probably bot but just won't admitted...i bet if there were no bans for admitting that u bot there would be 100ths of post like "help my bot is not working" lol.
-it would fail 99.9999999% cuz the majority of SRO are botters

Know whats funny is that I am actually taking a month break from SRO. Today was the end of my first week. It's not hard to do. Although I didnt do it because of the reasons you stated I did it because I needed to focus on my school work

EVERYONE should just quit sro!
