Mmm I remember the bodies and the whole setting really. I loved grinding penons with the bow-lure trick and sonars.

When you highlight items on the ground, you can see the item name reflected off the ice.

When you enter karokoram (Or how you spell it) it says in the description it was a city frozen by isyataru, goddes of ??? or something like that :p

i remember a couple of years back reading on the silkroad website during server inspection that she was th daughter of a god and the god wanted to take her land so she had a hissy fit and froze it over >.<

There is a section over in the south-west corner of the ice where there is a hole. You can actually go down in the hole and see some of the structures, bodies, etc that exist under the ice. I haven't been able to actually walk all around the bottom of the lake, but you can at least see it.

I unfortunately don't have any screenshots.

I'll see what I can do. I don't remember the exact location, but it was pretty close to one of the exits from the ice that leads to the yetis.

I didn't forget about this. I took my noob out there (res in same spot) and hit the wrong button one of the times I died and went back to town. :banghead:
