There is always a pack of Avalon & Union South of Samarkand just pussyfooting around.

wut o.O u consider that a lot of players pvping
based on pics... there seems to be an imbalance in lvl....so basically only 3-5 can actually pvp. each other, still hard to tell...one could be 81 and other 90..just basing this on gear.....even group pvp won't help much if a 90 atks a lvl 76

I dont call that pvp, but group fight. They all got buff from the bard.

My observations of Venus PvP in Samarkand:

The majority of PvP is Euros 1 hitting each other.

The capped players won't leave each other alone while they PvP. They also ruin the fun of PvP by bringing up botting, noob, you suck, weak or family fack every half second. Plus they really don't PvP 99% of the time they are just standing around or gang up on someone or buff people.

It's boring watching it and participating in it. Although, Axe007's absolute damage fight with Bulgaria was epic

No, this was obviously one of those random fights.
This week I had my best group pvp fights so far, it was same as guild war, just multiply these numbers (people) by 2.
And of course, when botters are out to pvp, we group, cause that's one of our main goals cleaning Venus from bots, cause that's the only field they feel powerful, yet they still fail.

I can pvp every build, but when 4 xbows (bots) are on me, and I'm pure int, is it fair pvp?

Group fight is group fight, pvp is pvp.
Not group pvp fight lol

yeah that started bcz botters grouped today at samarkand killing every legit out there...soo we grouped too this was taken after all that happened..till not much legits as babel

well maybe for u guys pvp is 1 vs 1...but thats just suk..its boring...every player spamming the same skill over and over again.. pvp = players vs players..i guess some ppl dont use the (s) much...and most of the ppl in the pic arent even capped or full farmed but we dont need to...u might consider nub, lame, to play chars how its meant to be...IS A DAMN MULTIPLAYER GAME...if u guys wanna solo dont play MULTIPLAYERS games then...sorry for the flame

I prefer 1v1 or pickup party jobbing. Organized group PvP is boring because either your team wipes the other team or your team gets wiped by the other team based on equipment and builds. When you can correctly guess the outcome of PvP based on the builds and equipment in your party you start to have no fun.

Plus I don't orgasm over killing bots. I'd rather just have fun then let a personal vendetta dictate my every move.

Jobbing is ghey, theres 2 warrior clerics that always theif and then we get into a resfight.

PvP for high lvls isn't common I agree, but its ok.

Theres usually 2-3 strong ppl around.



Yeah less pvp, less botters. Deal with it or move to a shit server.
I usually leave when we get into group shit thats just stupid.

I kill them all 1v1, I feel that makes them more upset than killing them in a group. Killing them group vs. group just makes them mad, it doesn't discourage them -.-

I see it as what does 1v1 even accomplish? Trades, Thiefing, Jod Wars, Guild Wars, Fortress War, even CTF all = Group pvp

So why would focusing on 1v1 help you at all? -_-

Watching 2 people either one shot each other or have a endless pot fight has to be the most boring thing ever. It's fun every once in awhile but big fights are far more fun.

Lol, when you left me with them that was sooooooooooo rediculous, it ended up being like 6 xbows, and 1 warrior versus just me XD; got one or two with damage return lawls

I witnessed that sact, it was pretty bad :\

that's how it is on venus Ganging up on botters so they leave the area. And that's fun as hell

Isn't that the same as 1v1? You wipe out the other player based on equipment and build. In group PvP, the outcome is not just based on your build, equipment, or skills, but other players' too. Add in the different personalities of each player and you get an unpredictable fight.

Astra pointed out an excellent point. The game revolves around team work, all the way from CTF to Fortress Wars.

If you really want some good pvp i would suggest for example Avalon union going hunters/traders
Just to stir up a fight and actually ask for a group pvp, cape group pvp are kinda lame, just have the ballz as an union to get 1 single job and challenge everyone else to do same, if people on your server are weak they will choose your job, if they think they can change up things they will change jobs, timezones are such a big problem in isro that some unions think they dominate the server.

Having Job fights can be done legits vs bots and same time legits vs legits (bots vs bots too ofc) just the fact anyone that claim to be godly on a server can show off what he can by showing up at that gate and wait for a challenge, after some time the server would evolve and actually show more interesting and equal (number/level wise) group pvp.

Maybe Venus isnt ready for that challange yet and still stick up with the "lets remove bots mentality, kinda a thing i find strange since what i heard the last 2 fort wars were dominated by legits and bots too afraid to show up" maybe its time for the legits on Venus to fight

Avalon IS all hunter/trader and we do suit up and wait for a challange. Problem is thieves on venus only show up if there is loot to be gained. So we do about 5 trade runs a day on venus just to keep the job system from collapsing.

And even so, the best the bots can offer is to do an all out charge at a behemoth, take it down, die, rez scroll and run off, then go invis and try to ninja some loot away. which fails cuz we are not morons. so it ends up being a trade run stalked by 10 thives in constant oblation. they charge, we kill them and move on towards town. they come in and res there dead then charge again in oblation trying to slow down the trade. they die to absolutes and the cycle continues.

Since we are legit and on vent/reading chat, the min our trade is hit the hunter count goes from 2-3 to 10-20. thives on the other hand are mostly bot and can manage to get around 5 players together total. its kinda sad...

i can see it's boring. no doubt

Babel or Zeus may have more "characters" at the PvP areas. But I do not count botters as "people" or "players". The above screenshots show, at first glance, at least 18 "players" ("legits"). How many does Zeus or Babel have to offer?

Babel doesn't have any bots, their server is 100% pure which is why it is so hard to log on to babel, even right after inspection they are so happy they can log in again they spare no haste in getting back in, nothing automated about it just people who keep spamming refresh on rev6
