Hello and greetings,

The situation:

I have a capped char with a 9 gap atm. What I'm realizing at this point, is it's very difficult to 1 shoot/kill these mobs (Rocky or bird mobs 88ish lvls) which means low sp gain. I've had some friends suggest already to go to 85-87 mob -> chasers. I've done this suggestion, BUT there's just a crapload of ksers, and AGAIN ---> low sp gain.

My question:
I'm thinking about closing my gap to 5 (90char-85masterymaxlvl = 5 gap). This way I can have higher nukes or skills that will allow me to have a faster rate of kill, which logically should mean faster rate of SP gain. This would also help to aggressively fight against or get most sp gain from the ksers in my area.

All in all: Close gap to 5 -> Higher nukes/skills -> Lose max sp gain, BUT gain fast rate of sp gain

What do you guys think? Thanks for the input and suggestions in advance.

Why not buy a godly weapon and pwn mobs that way while keeping your gap at 9

I think I've done that, but the "godliest" weapon I have is a +7 spear (at least in my eyes lol), unless you talking about Sun. -.- . I'm not rich .

mmm, maybe you are doing it wrong, i can 1 nuke the 85--87 chasers with my 85+5 spear, or when i go with my s/s set, i fnot 1 nuke them i use 1 shout and the job is done, maybe you need to get your mag balance higher, 9 gap is hard but doable

Do you have a full blue set? (ATLEAST 5 int on every item)

It's the reason most ppl farmed 1.5m sp + or rerolled in ksro (the few ppl left)
And a lot of ppl did that in isro. Farming will get even harder at next cap.
Or like most ppl in isro they just grind 24/7 ... or just trace someone in pt 24/7 ...
Or of course can be unfarmed too and live with it.

5 gap is the worst gap because you dont get very much sp and you dont get very much exp
9 gap is the best gap, above 9 and it doesn't matter anymore
3 gap is for those who want to farm but dont wanna get serious
7 gap is good if you want to do more dmg but need alot of sp

I don't think he really needs SP cuz he is lvl 90. I have the same issue, and was considering the same thing. I believe closing your gap just enough to 1 hit kill rockys is a good idea, because stronger hits = kill faster = less time hp pot = longer time fighting = more SP = faster time to full farm = more fun

By the way I recently upgraded my weapon from +5 to +7 and i haven't really seen any noticeable increase

Sorry for the late replies. Was late at night when I posted this topic. Anyways, I will try the 7 gap first, and open/close gap appropriately for my preference. Thank you all for your replies. Btw, I am fully blued, and have at least +5 int/str on every gear. Have to agree, as stated already, I don't see much difference on +5 to +7, as far as damage is concerned. Thanks again.
