Ok so here's the background: Fellow name "Merduk" is on my ctf team. I ask my team to STOP spawning so other team gets bored, leaves, and we can have a chance to buff. IT was 8 vs 5 and one of them had sun. Alone i could take out each of them, but together i couldn't tank fast enough. Especially with large and not x-large pots. Anyways, he says i'm useless. I ask how am i useless? All he did was spawn, run to the door, die before making it there, rinse and repeat. It wasn't until the end did he do something useful by ressing our rogue. He says no stay on ground, he wants me to get up with him and kill. I said i've killed 6. He said he's killed 2. I said go kill 4 more than tell me i'm useless. In the end i just waited till 1 min left, spawned, threw on ice and ironwall, stole the flag. gave it to rogue when i died. she kept it and match was a draw.

Do you think sitting on the floor during ctf and waiting till the other team leaves is "useless"? I personally have found this to work if EVERYONE does it. I've had chances to actually have my team buff up and fighting again. So what do you all think? Useless strategy?
He also said that it's useless since repetitive attacks can work, specially in war. Well i don't think that ctf 8vs8 is much of a war, and repetetive attacks (aka spawns) DO NOT work when other team are full 8 and over half can tank ( sun + pure str glaivers) and your team is almost half (5 in this case). Tactically i think it's better to wait till they leave so u have a chance. i guess for more info, our team had me, pure int china nuker, and a bow, blade, and rogue... and someone else i forget, srry . But yeah, not exactly much of a chance. specially since the rogue cleric died in 1 hit from the sun glaiver who stood there at spawn waiting. Only me and the blader could tank if we both had snow on. Sooo yeah what do u guys think? Useless or useful considering the situation.

o lol. srry if my post sounded emo. I was just wondering what other ppl thought about my strategy? The background story was so ppl knew what happened. Maybe it was a bit too much, i'll go back and try and un-emo it. But yeah, question still stand on whether my strategy is useless? was wondering what other sro pvpers thought.

Well, why didnt the rogue put RD on, CrossBow Xtreme, stealth and go out and kill some guys?

Bottom line here is that most of the people I have met on this game are mentally challenged...

uhh... once again. i'm not trying to be emo... i was just asking if you guys think this is a good strategy... he didn't get to me seeing as we kinda got friendly and said goodbye at the end. I was just trying to see if you guys think it's better to sit and wait or keep charging in stuff like ctf or fw.

Whats i usually do when we are getting spawn raped is tell the English speaking people on my team to wait until everyone is dead. Then I tell them all to res at the same time. As we spawn ... I bless. Usually someone will die the second they spawn so the second after I bless i spam team res just encase someone dies... Once That's done with and the Chinese on my team get to tanking I try to find a strong in and skin him. If all of that go's smoothly we can get the team out of our spawn or at least kill a few so it will be easier next time we spawn...

Now say I Have a bunch of Turks in my team... who res themselves whenever the hell they want to. Its almost they same except i use group res then bless... then its the same from there.

Normally I just tell the guy to suck my you know what. Man, its a game. Play or be Played. Your choice, now i'm going to click on random global and insult them for fun. xD

Hurray for the first response i've found useful pertaining to the topic. Hmm wht lvl is team res cuz i'm 73 and i've never seen any cleric in my pt use that skill.

It's not the first time i was insulted : noob, retard, idiot, etc...
All i did is answer them back: "Yes, and?", "so?"
After that, they got bored and walked away
Or if they insult me: "mother fucker" or "..... ya mother"...

So they begin to wonder: "why not? how is it possible?"

best tactic i find is for every one to die and wait to res at the same exact time, some of you will go down but if a cleric or sub cleric lives he can bless and res, and the campers have a whole team to deal with rather then one at a time, but thats the fighting back spirit, letting them get bored i guess works i'm to aggressive to do such a thing, either i leave or try to turn it around, depends on the team i'm with though. Then again i'm such a beserker i'll rush in and nuke the other team and die simply to buy time for the flag carrier, i dont' care if they kill me back, its like i don't care my job was accomplished, we got the flag and i'll spawn just in time to greet the carrier.

But best way to break out of a camping is respawn together, which can be hard to get your team to do if they are stupid, ressing in ctf is important if you can res do it; a dead team can't fight, if you got a bunch that can/willing to res your team will probably win over the other team. If all you have time to do is oblate another cleric thats well worth it, they can usually group res before the other team notices they are back up.
