With all the bots at the mountain. An idea hit me

What if a party of Euro Traders with Transports went to their grind spots and grinded on both Rok mobs and Thieves?

You could have higher lvl mobs to fight without the stuns that Rocky's do and those elusive 89-90 drops if the traders are using multi-stars. plus, job mobs are easier to kill than normal ones.

The only hard part I could see is keeping the transports alive under the waves of spawns

Is Rok Mountain seen as a China area or Euro area though?

China, it was Pre-Euro in most versions. I don't believe you can spawn party Thief mobs so I don't see the point...

wat if a group of thiefs come and try to take your goods?

If i remember right, doesn't killing anything job-related only give u exp and 0 sp.

You get job exp I think

im preety sure it gives u bot kinda xp... but id do it just to collect a 90 chest drop... but its hard with a lvl 90 trader cuz they spawn sometimes lvl 100 npc thieves....

They give you sp also, although I don't know if it's a smaller amount when compared to exp..

Problem I see with it is keeping the trade.. you got NPC thieves, lets say a party giant spawns and then some player thieves decide to step in.
Maybe you could use jangan grasslands with 2-3 traders and make their spawntimes spread out so spawns are nearly constant (maybe using safezone? not exactly sure how the spawntimer works ><)

Highest mob I've come across while doing trades with Lv90 traders was a Lv98, haven't seen any higher *even with multiple 5 stars*

They give both regular exp, sp exp, and job exp. Not all of the spawns drop Lv89~Lv90 drops, even then it's just as rare as getting a repairable drop from Shaitan. I've only known 1 person that's actually got a Lv89 drop from trading.

Biggest problem I see is being able to keep the transports alive with the onslaught of spawns. Maybe if they [traders] had behemoths, but you gotta have fortress, or know the fortress owners to get some, even then with enough spawns they can die quick.

I belive they spawn every 45 seconds, im not enteirly sure about that however.

@On-Topic; They do it so they can get NPC theives, while partying on mobs, they also kill the theives for their drops and they do it while they kill chasers and rockies etc, and to get to 99.99% of level 90.

Wouldn't be worth it for a full 8/8 pty...but if 3-4 friends bring a 90 transport to Rockies, it would be decent exp and a good chance for drops.

The highest NPC thief is Lv 98 btw.
