What is a good program for recording? I need a free recording program. Don't go recommending me some expensive thing. I heard Fraps was free but in clips of 30 seconds? Anyone got a crack version of that? I also heard about WeGame. How is that? What about game cam? Please let me know. I also want to know if there is a good movie editing program for free.

I'm also getting the same problem. Every time I add audio, it doesn't play along with the video nor will it let me save it as a movie file. I believe it's a Windows Movie Maker issue, but I cannot find a fix to it.

To Avoid making a new topic I will post here. I downloaded Wegame recording program. So once I start wegame first or Sro_Client?
When Im done how can I put it so I can edit it? Meaning take off parts like if a noob gets in the way of the pvp or me walking as my intro or what not. Also does anyone know how to make it zoom in (when there is criticals in pvp) with Windows Movie Maker?
If you can't. Anyone know a free program that can do it?

Starting the WeGame client first before the Silkroad client is advisable. You can't take out a character that may get in the way in your video, you will need to find a spot where nobody interrupts the PvP. To insert a clip of your character walking, you would record that as a separate clip and add it as the first clip on the storyboard and ending it with a transitional effect. As far as I know, I don't think there's a sudden zoom feature on a specific area of the video that you want to shoot, I believe you can find that in Sony Vegas.

Thanks for replying with detail as well as all the people who had something to say. Thank you very much.
So basically Sony Vegas is the only one with the instant zoom?

Go ZD Soft Game Recorder.
It allows u to record uncompressed or chose from 9 types of compression.
It also has a built in fraps meter.
PM ME if u want it, as it is not free - except if u know where to look
I tried WeGame, program is very buggy

The recording is good though
Fraps is just shitty, 1 minute = 1 gb or more.
And only 30 seconds recording time with the free one.
And compression tool:
VirtualDub - It's FREE and a really, really, good program
If u don't know how to use it, look for movies on youtube. Many great guides there
