Almost done farming my noob.(200k sp more to which will take like a week more. )
I am trying to pick between wiz or cleric sub since my main will be Bard.
After farming sp, my friend will powerlvl me to 76 77 max, then he'll stop plvling because his euro char can't kill GPT 85 mob.
If i go with cleric, will i able to find party under 80? Because bard/cleric can't solo grind. plus on my server, it's really really hard to find general party.(After 80 with bard/cleric, I can find wing pt relatively easy)
Another choice would be bard/wizard. I've seen some 7x level at niya mage, shaman quite easily.
I can level there up to like 80 81 then go to find wing pt.
Lot of wing pts on odin only take in clerics, bards, rarely a tanker or two.
Since i don't like one hit kill ppl style and vice versa to myself.

With cleric sub, i have bless, recovery, plus guard tambour which allow my char to survive a few hit from other ppl. Also, i have 2 friends who are playing bard/warlock.
I am kinda in favor Bard/cleric but i don't know if i can level up from 77-80.
So what do you guy think i should pick?
Give me some pro and con like later level 80 85 90, in pvp, GW, JW, FW.

i'd go with bard/warlock but since it's not a opition i'd go with wizard/bard

2 of my friends already made bard/war.
Making a third seems a bit odd

I'd learn to play your character if I were you. Bard is amazing for solo PvE .. and Cleric is nearly unkillable with all it's heal and absolute damage skills.

Youtube it, you're bound to find a good vid or 2. Hell if Silveri0 still browses .. I'm sure he can tell you how easy it was for him to grind on shamans at 80 cap.

would do warlock/cleric as int or wiz/cleric, as str warrior/cleric
wizard/bard is more for solo play, to be left alone by mobs and run fast

You want bard as your MAIN therefor choosing wiz will most of the time switch barding to a sub, rather choose cleric to support your main mastery.

yes cleric solo training is slower

but it is hard to die if you are paying attention
plus for party play you have 2 different char choices for parties

Bard/cleric can solo just fine after level 40 (Recovery Division makes a big difference). Cast RD and Holy Word on yourself, switch to bard, put up a tambour and nuke away. Aggro 2 or 3 mobs with your single nukes, then Booming Wave to finish them off. An attack pet is helpful too.

As for slower grinding, well I think survival > raw power/speed killing. I used to solo grind on Goats and Antelopes in a 4-man pt with a friend with a wiz/bard, same level, and even with my phys/mag cleric buffs and him staying in range of my RD, he would die a lot. (And I took a lot of aggro off him because of the RD.) At the end of a grind session, I gained more % than he did. You decide which is better.
