mana drain causes combustion which cuts mp in half and adds mp pot delay.
mana drought causes combustion but it also says it affects hp AND mp pots so what im asking is
does mana drought combustion affect hp pots or is that a typo? preferably someone with experience answer this please.

Mana Drought
Attribute Long distance-magical
Type: Active
Description Freezes mana around a target by exploding cold energy in a wide area. Enemies that cannot control their mana will have lower mana capacity, and their mind weakens making them combustion state, which troubles their MP recovery. Under combustion state there will be 4 seconds delay when HP, MP potion is consumed. This skill is not efefctive on monsters.

:(
hm, i dunno.

never tried it

I use it on STR chars and watch them bitch, bitch, and bitch some more until Charged Squall and a Meteor comes crashing their way. Mana Drought FTW.

Yep, it's like Panic, have same effects on CHINESE characters, gives a 4 secs Pot delay on top of the Low Mana Recovery and Less Mana Pool.

It's half their mana and you lose like 5% mana every second even if not using a skill and half the mana pot recovered. Basically get it on you're boned until it goes away unless the guy has like 10k mana.(talking str wise ints wouldnt matter ish.. lol)

i dunno but it's kinda like wheel bind...first book "decreases their healing" and second book has the added affect of 4 second pot delay...so i assume it does...lvl 9+ status jst prob have extra effect, so no typo there.

It might be a reason for a warrior wizard. aoe them into combustion then kill them.

don't forget aoe fear, so even if they had them mp to attack you they still couldn't, aoe bind stops short range units and means no one can run away, invisable, charged wind (keep level one) so you can knock back huge aoe.

Univis attempt first status kn, 2nd status, make sure to get bind so your do more dmg with your warrior moves, they are helpless, it wont' be as disabling as warrior/warlock but it'd make sure no one can escape after you got them, teleport plus sprint assualt = some serious chase down power, and you'd get invisible its like a comprimise between picking sub rogue or warlock, a dude i used to know on mercury was sub wiz, no one expects a warrior to come out of nowhere or zoom acrossed visual range in a flash.

Thats something i was thinking about myself. It has always had good potential, teleport + spring assault to chase down opponents, earth barrier, bind, fear, invisibility ( handy for trading ) and potentially a hp + mp pot delay skill. The only problem i see present is how much mp it costs to use the skill or any of the wizard skills really. Low mp ftl? hybrid?

It cost a hell of a lot of MP to use cleric skills too. I'm proud to say that I support the pure str warrior/wizard. There's a hyb warrior/wizard on Venus. My last two warriors were warrior/wizards.

MP doesn't seem like that much of a problem if the Warrior only uses the Wiz skills sparingly. 90 capped Warrior has 6350 MP - naked. Every skill at cap can be used as they cost below 6k.

This build sounds good for a thief. The distance it can cross alone with Teleport and Sprint Assault is amazing whether your running away or trying to catch up. That plus invisible... damn

You have one? What level is it? I've had thoughts of changing Pi to Warrior/Wizard but I'm still hesitating. It sounds good in theory but in practice, I haven't seen one in action.

I had one, level 39. Ran out of SP, went on Haitus. Had another one level 34; SP again. SG was a capped warrior/wizard at 80 cap though. There was a jSRO video with a warrior/wizard but the only action we really saw was teleport. There were other wizard skills on his quick slot but he only used teleport. =_=

Yeah. I heard it didn't work for him. How was PvP with it, both cape and tricon?

Teleport, well, it's the only skill you can use without switching weap. Too lazy I guess.

Hybrid to the point of simply having more mp, or to the point of being able to deal good damage with LC + wizard nuke?
