Just curious, one warlock lv82 wanted to join my guild pt on 85-87 mobs, and it got me to ask this question.

Are lv8 Warlock debuffs worthless against 9d mobs? In other words, are they getting resisted most of the time, and do they still have good effect?

Maybe some warlock have experienced this at 80 cap on mages and generals.

They will resist some times. But i think those lvl 8 effects are enough to get the mobs debuffed..if they dont work,just try to add Disease or use the debuffs some times..

But what im askin myself is why you didnt just try it ~.~

I guess the debuffs' success rate will be high enough to spam a few monsters with.

ALWAYS use disease first, makes the chance of debuff waaaaay higher.
And yes, we have a 78 warlock on a gap that debuffs fine.

Idd, while plvl I debuffed a 78 or 80 pt giant with a lvl 69 warrior/lock and it worked fine as long as I had disease on it : )

Debuffs that are one degree lower typically have a success rate of ~50%. Get your warlock party member to spam Vampire Kiss and give them Protect so they don't draw aggro. Done correctly, soon afterwards a lot of monsters will be running around with disease so it is easy to use area debuffs such as Physical/Magical/Combat ravage, while DoTs will also give statuses quicker. Done correctly, even a low level warlock can survive well and help the party's damage and kill speed.
