8:1ish S/S Nuker

I have added 10 STR to my character ever since I was a noopie. I was wondering if I should wear garms, which I love the bonuses it gives me and it's looks or should I wear protector for the increase of physical defense.

Depends on your build... If your sword shield, ofcoure you can wear garms since the shield defence... And if your gonna max ice to 90, screw prot rofl xD

LOL not at all. I never lose to my own level. Back in the days I used to be one of the best nukers in Sparta but I got my account hacked. I think then i'll stick to garm, since Im gonna max 90 cold.

go protector , i guess the only reason nukers wear garms is for the look .
& btw i'm not very convinced with the whole garms giving extra dmg bonus to the nukes cuz of magical reinforcement ( there is a reason why magical reinforcement tablets of weapons are not the same ones as armor)

Then what would the reinforcement on gear be for? Its clearly to increase your damage.

nope, its for defence. You get more than, say 80 defence when you equip a gear with 80 defense on it, more like 85-90.
tested: naked i have 39 defence, but with my 90 chest which has 353.4 mag defense , i get up to 462 defence. 353+ 39 = 392.4. Win.
garms mag defece adds up to 1735, while i have almost 2200 mag defence. no im not using a buff.

reinforcemnt on armor affects durability, higer your phy reinforcment is you will lose less durability from phy mobs. same for mag reinforcment.

Dunno where the hell you guys took your info from, but phy and mag reinforce on your equipment affects your att too. Believe me, I know what I`m talking about. I`ve pvped my mate.. +5 garm set, +6 glavie.. Silver Premium f/f... I had +4 garm set, +5 acc set, premium plus... Skills 85 glavie +5... he hit me like my other mate, with his +7 glavie f/f and a Premium plus.. And I compared they`re sets.. The one with silver premium has 41% or higher, on most of his garms on his phy reinforce... So garms should be better....
