Ok, so me and uni having an argument. Me and my friends remember seeing Santa suits on Alps like 3 years ago. I remember seeing it in dw in a stall and wondering how i could get one. So anyone from the old days remember if Alps had it? Other ppl in uni said that Alps never had it. We are all old players who started when Alps opened. Also, what was the exact date Alps opened? Trying to see who had it right. I only remember it was during summertime. Someone said July 4th, is that right?

Well that event you are talking about were at the christmas in 2005. So i think alps did not have them. :/ But look for the opening date of Alps if you want to be 100% sure.

Alps opened on 4.07.2006, here is the notice

AFAIK only Xian - Troy and Babel have them .. possibly Athens / Oasis too ;o

There were 2 seperate christmas events. Alps missed the first one, I think only the 3 first servers ever had them. Though Alps was around at the second christmas event and we did get christmas items, gloves or something I don't really remember..

Oasis didnt have them, I played from first day Oasis opened,we didnt get them.

monster scrolls - santa set/muffler/gloves

last week,
pandora's box - special identitycard/tradeflag/thief suit

HAH. ok ty lol. I have good memory when it comes to random things, and i did remember seeing santa gloves in a stall on Alps back when i was lvl 2x. Ty for sharing. now to laugh at my uni mates XD

only to realize ur wrong, and that santa items dont exist on alps

except i remember seeing someone with a stall selling santa gloves.... sooo unless that was Crayon or some GM pretending to be a normal player to show off, i'm pretty sure they existed, Prob was from the first christmas event on alps and was a super rare prize. And the ppl that got them probably quit. I know 2 of my friend's horded GDF and pandoras quit. I managed to get one of the acct, the other the guy wants for sentimental sakes.

Babel doesn't have them.

Aege also got santa set. I think my old char still wearing em.

Are you sure it wasn't one of those Alchemy Materials Bone Guards/Soldiers.. Gauntlet something? The item Icon of those looks pretty similar.

I thought about that, but it wasn't. It was blue, was being stalled for like 10 or 30 mil, and it had santa in it's name. It was definitely a santa glove... just i dunno... really wish i knew how to do screenshots back than ><

Wow reading those news posts makes me wonder what happened to Joymax...

YEp, if you check all the news back to 2005 there are some pretty interesting thigs... Like the announsement of Xian 1 week rollback and stuff... it's pretty cool at least they are saved somewhere for people like, who haven't played back then.

Yes. i've been to that website. I dont' see how it shows there's no chance of Alps having the event seeing as There was another christmas event later that year. And there were other comments too :

Oasis didnt have them, I played from first day Oasis opened,we didnt get them.

The first website only shows news up to July 4th from what i saw. I clicked around and i could only get from july 4th to past dates. Not future. So there could've been some christmas items given out as rare prizes during the event that year.

the second xmas event did not give out santa items, period
