My start button and the announcements do not show up. I also have tried going on the silkroad.net site too.

long way ago i was having same problem,, not sure how i did it but i think i just opened sro start thingy tablet and waited for about 5 ~ 10 min,, after that it was normal again

I get this too sometimes.

I works if I load silkroadonline.net.

maybe try to restart your computer? i get it too sometimes and i just log off, and back on again (i got xp so i can log oss users blah blah blah ) that or just restart and wait for a while. if it still doesn't work, keep trying i'm sure it'll pop up ^^

Did you DL the new patch from the update a few weeks ago?

I just try a couple of times and it works.

open the main sro site and leave it open then start the game.

Useless replies for the most part

start --> run --> cmd

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

If that doesn't work, turn off your computer, unplug your modem and router if you have one for 30 seconds, then see if it will appear.

If not, have you modified your hosts file to include all the IPs from joymax? You can search these forums to find them if you haven't.

If all that fails.. have you installed anything new on your computer?
Have you played since mondays inspection?

WHen Start doesnt shows . Exit and Start Sro Quickly over and over . Then Start Sro and Wait 5 Seconds it will work

i slam my keyboard 5 times , turned my monitor on and off 3 times , went to 10 different porn sites, and spammed blackfox 4 times and it works

try it a few times, if it still doesnt work just restart your computer...

Mine does that sometimes, I just exit after 3-5 secs of the start button not showing up and try again, works just fine.

BTW Mousetrap that was really in-depth lol.

I just made a .bat file on the desktop named bla

echo /flushdns
ipconfig /flushdns
echo /release
ipconfig /release
echo /renew
ipconfig /renew
exit

Rarely have to use it though.
