I do something similar in Linux and SRO is working fine for me. I run SRO through WINE in Linux. Sometimes the screen will freeze, forcing me to kill the sro_client.exe process and logging back in, but I think that has to do with my graphics card, not Linux or WINE.

Be quite dude. I bet you've never evn used a Mac before, much less owned one. They're much better at certain things than Windows, and vise versa.
On topic, I was gonna suggest CrossOver but someone already mentioned it. I haven't used it but I've read about it before...
I think it costs a bit though. $40 or so. But I could be wrong...

Wine is a free version of CrossOver. It probably has fewer features, but it is free, open source, and will run your windows apps. It runs SRO, allegedly WoW and tons of other applications.

Yeah, I use Wine on Ubuntu to play SRO. Though I use Windows most of the time...

I don't even have Windows installed on my system. I currently have Solaris 10 and PCLinuxOS 2007 installed on my system. I also have another version of Linux (I think based on Mandriva) installed to use ZoneMinder (a video surveillance system).
No Windows for me *spits*.
