I was at Samarkand south gate and i was pvping, im at lv 33 pvping with people my level when some guy sets up a stall. he puts up a lv 53 sos+3 garm shoulder for 1 gold. i was getting ready to buy it when he changes it to 8m and he opens it. so i get out of the stall and pvp for a bit more and come back into the same stall, this time he has a lv 60+5 glavie up for 1 gold. I buy it when he opens it, i guess he forgot to change the price and i got the glavie. Now he said he reported me to joymax saying i "hacked" and "scammed" him when i never negotiated with him and saying id buy it for "this" amount of gold or what not. Should i be worried of getting banned or not?

Don't sweat it. He was trying to scam and got screwed over.

Easy lady, you've got morals.

I would give the weapon to one of my chars who could use it and PK the scammer with it, all the while saying screw scammers. Then offer to sell it back.

I dont consider that scamming.
I do it every once in a while when theres a decent item the scammer is trying to pull. I usually put all my gold except 1 in storage.
I dont feel bad because I'm 100% sure they have scammed someone doing it and I consider it payback.
Edit: Also because I've been a victim of that trick back when I didn't know about it.

yeah i was carrying 700k around with me and he opened and i was like oh snap. bought, sealed, delivered to my inventory

Done the same thing with a 24 sun bow. Guy kept changing the price from 1 gold to 80mil, so I put all my gold in storage except 1 gold, and just spammed buying it. Sure enough, 10 tries later I got it.

wow ... good for you. and no, scammer wannabe is a loser and should stay that way.

I'm only worry that JM would ban him for being a dumb@ss

That happend me once i bought sos spear for 1gold. then that turkisgh guy said he gonna hack me and his friend pm me to said they hack me. Lol.

It can happen I've opened a stall for 1 gold and lost out, I've also got items for 1 gold or a lot less that the real price they wanted to set (missing 0000). The moral at the end of the day is check your prices before opening the stall not to lose out and if I spot some one mistake, I will buy it because the stall is open !

i would return him the item with a bunch of white roses and a pack of assorted chocolates.
