Ok..i'm not here to compare chinese to euro. This topic is for only the long time sro players that remember wut jobbing/guild wars were like before EURO update.

Do u remember before EURO update came out? i mean sro was great..and EURO's completley ruined the game. period

Think of back in the day (before EURO update) when job wars/pvp/guild wars were actually fun. It was great..it all depended upon your gear and weapon. Now all that is ruined, because EUROS are over-powered with there BUFFS. I mean look at the jobbing system now, from what i've heard, in 75% of the servers when people job war/trade/etc. they use UNSUITED EUROS FOR BUFFS (which i think is cowardly and only goes 2 show how weak your char. rlly is.)

Think of how great the job wars would be with only chinese...you wouldn't have the 12yr old kids with FF lvl 90 warriors with full screens/bless/all other euro buffs talkin so much shit about how they can tank 10-20 ppl at once. This is why i think euro's have ruined the game...no matter what your gear/weapon/skill is...you can alwayz get a euro to buff you so your practically invincible.

Think back when it was only chinese, it was great...the better your stuff..the more respected you were, but not now...its whoever can get the most buffs on and tank the most ppl b/c of these BULLSHIT OVER-POWERED EURO BUFFS. Even if your chinese with a SUN+7 weapon now...you cannot take down even a FULLY EURO BUFFED wizard, which has only like 8k HP WITHOUT LIFE TURNOVER ON...but back in the day..if you had sun u were considered a GOD on the server. Now..all that means nothing..cuz Joe Blow can go out and get a euro buffer to buff them and tank as many ppl as they want.

I'm not here to say euros are pieces of shit by any means..b/c yes..they r fun 2 play with..but they are mis-used in MANY ways.

so now i would like for you to vote, have euro chars. helped or hurt SRO?

P.S. dont vote HELPED or HURT without reading what i've written below, because i know some of you will vote HELPED just b/c u like euro better than chinese or vice versa. So please..before you vote, take the time to read and comprehend what i've said below. ~ThX

i hate euros, ecsro is great without them but dont come its hard enough to login atm without other ppl starting to play the game also

All i remember before euro was whoever had the mosts suns won.

Which ever bot had the most gold bots boting for sun won.

Euro made the game 100000 times better grinding in a euro pt is better imo then everything youve talked about.

I guess you mean the legend 1 update when you say euro's, yeah I agree, that update sucked, JM farked the jobbing system, and euro have their own way of being stupidly over powered, no longer is it how much sun you have, its how many buffs you have , an improvement, imho.
EDIT: I think chinese, or at least forcers, should be able to buff each other to, that would solve any "buff balance" issues, I think.

btw, i feel very strongly about this issue..so dont come in here and start to FLAME. if your going to post i want vaild reasons/points behind wut u say..not just a bunch of FLAMES.

You contradict yourself so well. In your earlier post you said Euros are fun to play, however, it's the players themselves who abuse the bugs, and what not.

idk, sro was good before euro but euro gives sro more variety, and euro is pretty good and creates rivalry and competition, so i think euros are productive overall

Euro character did NOT ruin the job system. It's the users who ruined the job system.

It's the users who abused euros. It isn't the european characters itself. And you're whining about 'over powered' european characters.. They're not over powered. You'll say "wah wah wizards 1hit wah wah" Yeah, but ever think they get 1hit as well? It makes sense to me to 'even' it out.

You don't see bladers doing 1 hit kills however they got defense to make up for that. etc etc for every other build.

Completely wrong. Clerics and bards can kill that wizard with absolute damage. Chinese characters have the ability to knockback, knockdown, stun, etc etc to stop that wizard for <insert time he/she is 'invincible'>.

Wizards die even with bless/skins with turn over. They're defense doesn't make up for their lack of hp.

ya i agree, only thing that sucks is that the noooby outside buffers, thats the only ting that ruins this game.

A couple of Euro hunters buffing each other can stand up to those FF Sun buying botters. Finally gives legit players a chance.

Sure. Out of everyone in this thread you're being the most disruptive and most inclined to hostile replies (of course, when not siding with your opinions). Although not a classical example of flaming, because you pointed out that you were frustrated with flaming in the thread, I felt that it was a hypocritical statement as you fit the bill better than others.

As for what I think, I don't really care. The Euro update added a ton of content and keeps thousands of users busy with the game. From a corporate standpoint, it doesn't matter if it's balanced or not - it helps keep players playing and money rolling. I also see great potential in it, the teamwork required by euros to do group leveling is something that can't be duplicated by a bot. And as a result, I see a lot of QQing from botters about euros, not that it matters here anyways.

Euro made grinding better in some ways, but also brought party mobs, which i hate.

Euro totally killed pvp. Its not that fun anymore.
Just look at the 2H, its almost invincible.
Euro's got stealth/invisi, great buffs and great damage. What do Chinese have..?

I don't have shit with you, I'm not hating, and I sense fail because of the way you approached the subject. You're being overly aggressive. It doesn't make for a constructive debate on whether European characters made the game better or not. Another problem is that you have set the tone with "absolutes." By this I mean: You want people to decide whether Europeans completely ruined the game or aided it. The problem with this narrow mindset is that every update has it's pluses and drawbacks: I was very enthusiastic about European characters when I first read about them on the internet, but after trials and tribulations I have come to have a love-hate relationship with European Characters.

I also noticed you set the vote so people can change their vote. Your goal isn't to foster a discussion, what you seek to do is convince people that Europeans "ruined" the game. That is why this topic is fail.

Take a pill and relax dude, yes it is annoying when a lvl 90 char comes to pvp with cleric/bard/warrior buffs and then calls you "noop", but hey like other have said. It's the user controlling the euro chars, the euro isnt controlling the user. "How selfish and greedy people have screwed sro" would fit better to the threadname imo, joymax needs to add so euros can't buff jobbing people w/o having a jobsuit on.

Euro has added so much to the game though. The only negative thing euro has brought is reverse. Other then that its brought more diversity and now its just not all about a sun set cuz u have euros vs china not just china vs china.

BTW: i aplogize for ody hes mildy retarded, you should hear him in vent

Yeah friend, and I did read it, I just can't see how you can hate euros. =)

There are a ton more important things to talk about on this forum then the differences between euro and china. Euro changed sro, it didnt kill it. If euro and islam would ahve been with the game from day one, would you still have played the game as far as you have? This game is and will change again with the release of islam, change doesnt have to be bad as long as you change with the system. =/
