What keeps you Staying Legit?

For the last couple weeks ive been seeing high lvl legits turn to bots because they cant take the endless grind anymore. Ive read many threads about "usetobeLegit" players turning to bots, many from this forum. Each week more and more people confess to using bots and it sicken's me alittle since i know it will only get worse as the cap rise's.
So i ask you fellow Legits, What keeps you from easily downloading a bot and just walking away?
For me id have to say its playing with friends in party's. I made a 1h warrior specifically so id have to party and not solo grind.

Being legit does not mean having fun, botting can be having fun more than legit. Right or wrong is another matter

If you people need a website to stop you from cheating you really do need some better willpower.
I have always been legit because its the morally just thing to do. Simple as that.
( i dont even play sro anymore so i speak from my experience of playing the game )

actualy there is no reason left for me 2 dont bot, but better just dont play
and do some usefull things

I dont cheat in any game i play, theres no reason behind why i dont cheat, i just think its pointless in playing a game if your gonna cheat.

botting is just for ppl who dont like the entire game, only like pvp ing
i myself dont mind grinding a bit

SRF kept me from botting. I just stopped playing when things were getting too frustrating in game. I saw people flying past me after 80 cap opnened. They were capped and fully farmed, and I was grinding my ass off (w/o silk) to farm up just two weak masteries (Fire and Light for my nuker. Suddenly I realized I needed Ice too =| ...). Wasn't worth it, really, so I stopped playing. Highest results: 69 STR archer @ Oasis, 62 INT S&S @ Zeus. RIP.

Moral issues, also the knowlage that legits tend to be stronger in pvp as they know what they are doing, so why lvl up fast if your only going to suck at cap?

That is bullshit ... What a retard statement is that?
Why would a botted character suck more than hand grinded?
I can master my PvP at cap if I botted up ... dont need more than 2-3 days to master it ...
Especially Chinese ... whats there to think ... 1,2,3, switch to shield when KD-ed...

The game itself, and the beautifull graphics. I'm not a hardcore player that wants to cap as fast as possible but I prefer spending time doing stuff with friends like unique hunting, trading, horse riding, kokoru runnings, climbing mountains, looking for nice spots or glitches, etc... I don't see how a bot can help me with that.

I'm not into Glaviers that much, but now you told me, and I learned, and if I botted up Glavier to 90, now I would know ...
Now I, botted up Glavier = Hand Grinded Glavier.
Infact , what you just said, normal person, when he saw that his combo is going bad ... would try other combination ...
I mean ... Glaviers got what , like 3 skills to click when PvPing, not many combinations?

There's much more to a build than reading a guide can tell. I'm not talking suns and Jv 2-skilling sun protector STR archers of his level. I'm talking about the normal +7 weapon, +5 set PvP. Some botters have no clue what they are doing with certain builds: low DPS, they leave themselves vulnerable (with Heuksal builds).... spamming arrow combo after each skill and using demon arrow in the middle of a fight (pacheons).... nuking after mars (INT spearmen). And there's so much more to it than text can tell (as I've said).
A botted up chinese might be close to a hand grinded chinese, but it will never be equal, IMO. There's so many circumstances a legit does better than a bot (like FW, a guild war, etc.).

For myself I rearrange my F1 bar when I go PVP'ing or GW'ing. You need other skills or use them in a different order.
So yes I think you can be good at PVP as bot if you read a lot and do it a lot, for each new build I have to sort out myself what's best in PVP and against what build and try it out a lot. PVE and PVP and jobbing are different, ask different skills and the order you use them. Being good in PVE doesn't automatically mean that you're good in your job or in PVP. A good hunter isn't the best PVP'er. Best build as hunter I ever had was a blade with light/force on it but it's horrible in PVP.

Well, I personally played on lv.90 Archer ... yeah indeed, I needed 2-3 days to figure everything out... I was pretty confused at first, when I got him in hands first time ...
But after 2-3 days, I couldnt see difference between me, and someone that played Bower 1 year...
The rest was on gear ... lets face it, the people you are talking about Stress, lack of inteligence.
Tell me, about PvE... it isn't like PvP ... I will never, during grind, act like I'm PvPing ...
Those are totally diffrent stuff ... (example Warrior, when you started about him.)
When I'm facing Giant, I wont do the same thing I'd do when I'm PvPing ...
I mean, if I can take him down, without switching to Cleric rod and casting healing cycle... why would I cast healing cycle ... I'd kill him with Sword...
And I dont think I'll grind on mobs that are few levels above me, so I have problems with killing them, and I need to use some PvP tactics...
Example at your Glavier:
You will never switch to shield when you get KD-ed, because you simply dont need to...
You will mindlessly start with some skill, and end with another...
PvP =/= PvE
But You do gain some skill... but true skill is gained in PvP.

I'm levelling up a xbow/1h at the moment. PVE is nice, red mobs.
You look for the mob that you can take down in 3 shots, keep a distance, start with long shot and two other shots to kill it. No problem even with champs, just running away from giants. A bot can do it if he wants.
In PVP I start with invisible (that I never use in PVE), use KB and KD, switch to 1 hand.
