I discovered how worthless Repair invalid items are

I never knew you couldn't disjoint them, i bought a d9 repair invalid sword thinking hmm, i'll break it down get some good elements and maybe a stone cause its got blues. It said cannon't disjoint repair invalid items
sigh what a waste, and even the npc will only pay me 1 gold for it, so now to hope to be able to stall it back at price of what i paid (i'll try 100k plus on it) how ever i don't see it selling
so just warning to any one else who never knew, don't buy them to break down

2m, so i'm not out that much but thats a half days worth of average earnings, and the past few days stalling havn't gone that well (i keep dcing)i mean i've already earned the gold back on elixirs but still its a set back,
and i bought the cheapest d9 weapon on stall network with some blues on it, so not like i can ask for a refund and i bet the guy was probably releaved enough to be rid of it to even think about a refund
edit right before i bought it i said in union i'm probally about to do something stupid, lol at least i learned something new

learn from your mistakes,
i bought a 52 sos Bow with durability decrease 41%. i added the blue durability 120 (+100%) i made the bow itself +5 fullblue crit 8 but i cant even sell it for 30m. thats the pricei paid for the bow when it was clean with 1 red line.
redlines make people scared.

Lol once I saw like 6 of those 9d with blues for 1m each and I hurriedly bought all of them wanting to disjoint for elements also to discover the same thing, I NPC'ed them for 6 gold...

I made 5 mill for some nice 72+5 repair invalid garms, and i learned the same way as you >.< wish i could just break them. I think they are a waste especially for people with nice clothes

We have a cleric rod Lv85+10 repair invalid which is stalled for 150kk. If an item is well pimped or even very good enough, although it would be repair invalid, some people do buy them for purely pvp and jobbing.

He's not that far off. He was making a point of how red lines just makes ppl not want to buy it.
To Phix, don't be disheartened. My friend bought a 32 sos staff, made it +5 but got Dur 99% red (yeah i lol'd too when he showed me), but he managed to sell it for 30 mil, ps: he bought it for 10.

actually you can still get rid of an item if it has a red of less than 50%
had 3 up until now, sold all of them in less than week.
but invalid is as good as junk

I never tryed selling repair invalid lol, I had more than 100 of them, usually I gave them to low lvl in guild or union for free, or if I got them as +4 +5 I try to plus them more, made once +8 89 garment legs destroyed for +9 and +7 2hand, destroyed for +8.
Its really stupid that they cant be destroyed cuz of invalid repair status, cuz the y usually have a lot of blues.
