earlyer i tested my lv 30 firewall with a warrior, he couldnt kill the firewall ever. thats normal because it only takes magical damage..

So now i tested my lv 90 icewall with an 78 wiz, and the outcome really made no sense at all.
I expected that he normally would never be able to kill the wall, since a wizzard does no physical damage..
We tried several times and sometimes the lv 90 icewall went down in 1 wizard nuke, sometimes it needed 10 nukes, and sometimes he couldnt break it... WTF?

Can anybody explain this please ...

but there has to be some kind of logic in it...and it is not because i used snow shield and he killed my mp or anything (walls consume mp), we tested that too

hm maybe you clicked it too fast? it happens to me sometimes, wall just dissapears if i do it.
and well if its not that it could be a bug.. >.<

stun cancles walls. maybe dull also cancles it.

firewall can be removed by sprint assault

You might've ran out of mana? The lv 90 walls do use like 700mp every 5 seconds.

If you saw the pvp b/w me and ilia...i cast ice wall several times and it frking fail..2x click on it or idk...also spring assault some times cancels firewall wall and many times it has no effect..stops everything..kd,kb,stun, all abnormal stats.

I don't think wall prevents you from being stunned and KDed, not even KB...

Wrong, it can prevent kb,kd...not glavier stun but I believe it prevented warlock stun....use it against a blader...no bleed/division ect. or kd... takes about 3 blader chains to destroy it..cuz still does dmg. form imbue...or it can be destroy with several tries of KD...blader can't kill u if u keep casting max firewall ...at least those that I have pvp. since they can't really use the 90 stab lol.

They worded it wrong. Check yourself. I haven't used ice/fire wall since 80cap, but if my memory serves me correct.. yeah. It's <large number> every 5 seconds and it does make sense that way.

I also forgot to mention did you have snow shield up? Run out of mana to keep it up = goes away.

@Above It gets broken with warrior stun. Not sure about xbow now, but daggers would just kill the dude instead of even breaking the wall. Not sure with anything else, but I know warrior stun can indeed break fire wall.

Self test, all curses (stun,dull etc,) even the rogues vein circle, cleric bomb, etc, also stun, bk, kd, has no eefect on the one who has the firewall up (selftested on glaiver lvl 90 with max lvl firewall, also 43 glaiver with firewall) All curses useless till the firewall is up, I dunno about the icewall

As Fly brought up, maybe status affect in general break it

are u sure? i thought nothing worked in the wall including stun...but doesnt really matter, the wall sometimes broke before he used an earth nuke too.

it uses 685mp every 5 seconds..i got more then enough mp to cover that, and i didnt use snow shield

knock back doesnt work in the wall, and even if i'm wrong..he didnt use a KB-skill, just earth, fire and cold nukes.

the only effect he could put on me is frostbite and dull, and we tested enough times. sometimes he just broke the wall with 1nuke, and sometimes never. no status effects involved.

allso, i didnt double click the icewall icon or anything, its a known bugg that it cancels then.

i still dont see the logics of this, wtf.. =/

Stun doesn't cancel ice wall. Debuffs don't work too. Pretty annoying fighting chinese chars with ice wall on.

Sometimes it gets glitched when you click on it, so try pressing the quick slot key to cast it..should work 100%

its a lil off-topic but ill mention it cuz its relevent

when my buffs are low and i want to rebuff and i press the ice shield on for example... then press fire shield thing... the fire shield dissapears but i dont re-buff. to get it to come up i hav to wait for other buff to finish THEN click on it...

i dno if its me being dumb but i think it might still hav the same effect!

(its more noticable on grass walk, if you press it fast, it removes grasswalk but not re-buff)
