it is understandable why almost all glaviers wear garments to have better mag def since they can tank the STRs anyway..
but why do all warriors -with very very few exceptions- wear heavy armors?
1-dont they already have hight phys. defence and are easily able to tank all str builds in game, especially with skins/bless?
2-aren't wizards/nukers supposed to pose a bigger threat on a warrior? (being full str)
3-wouldnt the extra speed be usefull for a build with no speed buffs of any sort? (no serious warrior takes bard as a sub)
4-might it be because warriors think that their only threat is other warriors?

oh, and warriors dont wear heavy armors cuz of thier looks ofcourse.. 9D LA and robes look cool as well (especially the female ones)

On Venus, Warriors wearing garment is becoming more commen under the legits.
Most botting Warriors still wear HA.

Maybe cuz their second mastery don`t allow them to wear robe... For example they take rogue as a second mastery. Or maybe their second mastery lvl is too low for their char`s lvl... And they don`t wanna wear a low lvl equipment..

Maybe becouse they dont have a sub so that they can wear Robe?

i see enough warrios with Light armor, who have cleric as a sub, tbh heavy armor just sucks for pvp and its ugly as hell to

they dont.

Some warriors have 2 sets...HA for grinding and Robe for everything else (And roc mtn grinding)

I would wear Robe if my cleric was high enough but its only lvl 70 when im done farming in a few months if 100 cap dosnt come out by then ill make my self a rob set.

Most wear HA because thats all they can wear.

cleric is for light armor, not robe.

What?

Warriors uses heavy armor (well in venus) mainly, bcz they can content mobs 8-10 lvls higher than they. Is logical that the mob must have phy attacks.

If is pvp, and is warrior w/o sub. then cuold be light armor recently.

I'm a serious warrior with bard sub, why can't a warrior have bard sub eh?

warriors wear HA because of the reinforce
you'll hit a lot more with HA then with robe
besides, robe is for f*gets, HA is cool

Gear reinforce does not effect the damage you hit.

true, it doesn't affect the damage, but affect the defence.(right?)

and as for warriors not wearing robes cuz thier sub-mastery is too low.. why dont they at least wear light armor?

i guess it might be true that warriors have 2 sets of HA/robes, but i see them pvping with HA even if they're against wizards.. it is true that a wizard would be no match for a warrior 1v1 , but dont they feel in danger while in group pvp?

I wore light armor... but since I hardly find parties I solo a lot so I needed the extra def, seeing as I died .

i have a warrior/cleric and i use light armors too.. its just a rare thing. i only saw ONE warrior in my server wear LA, and he was lvl 70 something :S
but i suppose HA wearing warriors would have an edge against me 1v1? not very true cuz i benefit from the cleric passives while buffing/healing.. even robes would benefit from the bonus healing from cleric skills (faith passive)

why on earth do ppl consider LA bad ???!

I like light armor, but I guess HA is just better for tanking during PTs, since most mobs are physical.

And having an actual NICE set of robe or LA as backup for when you pvp can be costly.

but does it really affect the damage?

light armor is not bad
on mars lots of warriors use robe , some use light armor , and some use heavy armor ( i do )
i think some ppl dont use light armor cuz it looks SOOOOOOO bad

btw for the ppl that dont know
warrior mastery grants u the ability to use heavy armor AND light armor
cleric mastery gives u light armor AND robe
so a warrior / cleric can use all sets
aswell a bard/warlock one

Overall it does affect it to a certain degree, but if you're in a good party then you shouldn't be worrying about damage since you -should- have a good cleric. But it does kinda help if you're forced to solo. I plan to switch back to LA. I thought about robe but meh.. Robe doesn't look sexy under 4D so maybe then.

I have a level 80 warrior / cleric, got some good deals on sox HA so I'll be using that until 90.. then I might switch to something else for pvping.

If you don't like the look of 9deg LA, then you don't really need to use it lol. I prefer LA because it's in between Robes and HA, I dun really need to have 2 sets. If you can afford it, you can keep a set of HA and a set of Robes.

Im lvl 60 warrior and the reason why im using HA is because it's the best for grinding and my cleric mastery is too low to have robes (only lvl 40...)

When i'll start farming for my cleric skills i'll get myself a set of robes and HA but that will be when im lvl 80

Imo warrior wear heavy armor just because it looks a lot better than robes and LA for the first 8 degrees

My war wears HA >.> And if I ever cap I'm gonna use ROgue with HA as well

You don't need to worry about defense if you got someone to back you up.
