I just recieved a note telling me that...wich pretty much scared me because i put so much time in my char and don't want to lose it

It's lllllllllll who send it to me ( a spammer from ReillyKlevre who doesn't stop sending me messages)

Now i don't want to log off...because im almost sure his warning is true...I mean this guy set up a program that can whisper you all day long (telling me to eighter go on a website or he is sending me insults ex: People live and learn. You just live) so im sure he can hack an account

I once visited his website just to see what it is and found out it was just a blog...but now i think that their might was a keylogger on this website so he can now hack my account

Have any of you ever recieved such a message? was it true and what should i do now

It's fake, disregard it. Happens to Odin occasionally as well.

Why would you risk it anyway and view his site?

A guy name Imposter did the same thing on Oasis a couple weeks ago lol, had all the botters scared. ~ Then came the Global Spam Threats

It could be spam, or it could be related to you for going to a suspicious website.

I suggest you log off and check it, it's the only thing you can do, get it over and done with, if nothing happens who cares, if something does you know never to visit those kind of sites, it's not the end of the world.

What is he going to do? Keep his computer on all his life?

If he is hacked, he is hacked, no need to dance around it.

Get rid of the logger/program, change pw and do it with speed if you can.

First off ...yes i got the same thing..they are just trying to scare you...secondly..dont visit their websites lol... some of those website s are IP tracer websites and if you visit them they can trace your IP and get your info and hack you..so dont visit websites they give you..just delete the message...o and btw..change your pw too...and EVERYONE READING THIS.... if you are using that Testosterone loader i would suggest you not use it anymore...someone on my server said they got hacked from it...how i dont know but i would take precautions and not use it anymore

i hope no1 is using testosterone loader.

but a load of high lvl bots got hacked recently. i suggest dont using any 3rd party programs as this is a consequence.

I also got a msg from a spammer. There wasn`t anything like that... just some kind of shitty words... Than, I saw Amalie`s global, she said it has keylogger, and I freaked out, cuz I opened that msg... Well, few mins later, she sends a global that it was a joke, just to let her log her staller >.>

Press U, go to Block, "all" tab, add block "lllllllllll"

problem solved.

and don't EVER visit sites that these spammers tell you.

i use to get his pms on poseidon to go on some site... just remember this the "Block all" button is your friend.

Anyone can trace your IP, it's not that hard. Mods here have access to it, and there are little programs that display it in your browser.

A properly configured pc is tight enough that little script kiddies and "hackers" can't do much to it. Sure there are experts, but think about it - why would expert hackers want an SRO account? There are tons of fun things to do - hack DOD, banks, credit card companies, etc.

I know Rumata who makes that loader and he would never put a keylogger in it, don't say things like that without proof
ontopic, noone here has mentioned what NOT to do, the most important thing.. infact in the quote I quoted Kingpin said exactly the worst thing you can do.
Change your password, if you change it from the computer that *might* be infected you give them your secret answer and possibly the email (if the account is verified)
change your password from another computer, make sure your pc is clean etc.
I think it's just an idiot trying to scare people, just because he knows how to spam people with PMs (He probably didn't even make his own program to do it I'd bet) doesn't mean he can 'hack' you.
Never go to the sites advertised.. hell never go to any site said in SRO chat unless it's youtube or something lol.

if rumata put key log in testostrone, then 99% of isro will be hacked, the only 1% is the legits, but they will get banned cuz joymax hates legits.

change ur pw and secret answer while u're still online.. that saved me from scammin once.

Block button is the best.
