Rev6, proof it's evil?

Ok, so I have just started playing SRO again this past week (I've been gone for months) and all these Rev6 stories are floating around.
So my question to you, the audience and viewers of this thread; Is there proof Rev6 is using hacks and/or is breaking/violating rules of Joymax? Is Rev6 REALLY a bad website? Should I, and everyone else, seriously not use it for anything or even go there?

better not look at rev6 or ill be a sinner and go to hell!
use whatever programs you want just dont be suprised if u get banned (unless you buy silk
)

I buy silk, and I know about all that talk. But why would you possibly be banned for going to Rev6? I didn't download anything, just looked around...
I want proof. Has anyone been banned? Has anyone gotten a virus and has proof it came from Rev6?

They give out AgBot for free as a way to run their website. The idea is to give the bot for free to the masses so every server is constantly scanned by the Agbot users. Its their way of keeping their website running and constantly updated.
There are a few things I dont understand about it like how it knows the inventory space of someone that doesn't use the program but everything else is open for scanning when an Agbot user is near you.
Technically the way they run their website is illegal but I dont think your breaking the rules by using their website as a resource. Considering they have more helpful tips, glitches and what not up to date that JM doesn't mention with their customers/ players.
You wont get banned for using it. You may get banned for using AgBot.

Thanks RK, I wasn't aware they gave out AG's. That's definitely not cool. Thanks for the tip.
That's pretty freaky AG bots can scan you when you get near them. >_>

If someone gets in your view range, you receive a packet with his infos. Cause the client needs to know the infos so it can display the char for you. I don't know why the client needs to know someones inv size though. Rev6 is not really doing anything "bad", cause they display everything that you can see yourself, except the inv size. Though I hate that they display the job alias + items. Rev6 is fine, visiting the site won't get you banned.

I don't think Rev6 isn't doing anything bad except for giving out agbot.
Another downside to rev6 is that hackers / scammer can find out who uses sox gear and target them. Just got to watch out.

To this day I haven't seen a single smart Full SOX player get hacked.
There are ones that claim that they didn't do anything but got hacked. Its always untrue, they did something wrong. There is really no way to hack anyone just because you want to. They need to do stupid things to get hacked. A hacked cant just feel like hacking someone and just do it. It has to be related to the real owner of the character doing something wrong.
Or else no one would have sun gear because theyre account would be at serious risk of getting hacked.

The Agbot may be a virus or a keylogger you never know or a trojan. Most likely a trojan.

rev6 doesnt download anything to ur computer...When i used to play in Alexander i had to visit rev6 everyday and see how full are the servers, and so far i dint get hacked.

there is nothing wrong with the rev6 website. nothing gets downloaded to your computer wih out you saying yes.
they get the stats by the info sent from the server to the client about gear and other char info.. thats what happens when you see some one. the server sends the info about that char to the client so it is rendered.. nothing more.
if people could download anything to your computer just by going to the site then the net would be so filled with sites all the same.
use your heads...
