ya so I decided to go to Venus and leave a lvl80, lvl70, 2 GDFs, and 500 mil behind on sparta..
dunno what I'd do with that stuff but oh well.

anyways I made a new xbow char, and was wondering if you guys had any tips for it cuz I'm trying xbow for the first time...oh and to say hi to anyone on venus^^

possibly selling? I might want to buy some sil...NO never

Lol you're never find a party on Venus with a xbow build. And they take in bards/clerics/locs but only full int.

its probably the reason they're called rogue class.

but yeah I could pick up a buffer sub class and hopefully help^^

it wouldn't matter if ur a buffer cuz str and int don't really affect the skill effects do they.

No, but it affects your mana pool.

Low mana cleric = joke.
Low mana bard = needs to be fed mana extremely often.

Go bard sub. Or you'll never find a party.

No, rogues are welcome in like ~40 parties, but after that nobody wants a rogue unless they have a bard sub

They most be Very Very picky on venus.

Yes they will. A strength bard is just as welcome as a int bard. As long as he does his job it doesn't bother anyone. Remember, most parties use 2 bards. So the main bard is int usually and the secondary is strength.

in my server we usually got like 3-4 85-87 or rockys going on. But its not like venus, we accept every1, cuz every1 in the pt bots no1 care as long as u fight.

do U bot in those parties?

What is your char on Sparta if i may ask?

Have you tried a str bard?

I'm full str rogue/bard and I do fine barding the whole party. Keep mana switches on the wizards, cycle yourself, then cycle the party. I don't even need to use MP pots, I usually bard with MP pots off, just sitting on the quickslot incase I need one, which I never do. STR bards are welcome in parties that I go to, dunno what you're talking about..

Manage a tambour on yourself, keep the party's mana up and yourself up. You'll understand what I meant. (tambour has killer MP drain at high levels)

Str bard is do-able but at chasers pt (lvl 85/87), str bard cant work alone. They need at least 2nd str bard or main pure bard. It's do-able. One thing u need to do is, to have the most important skills max. For instance tambour, march, cycle and dance. The reason why pt in Venus is picky because we know what a great pt it will be when everyone is doing their job. Having low skills will make it hard for you to do ur job and it will hold back the pt potential. Ppl wont take str bard that have low skills, nuff said. Just dont take it light on bard even if it's ur sub.

Rogues make the absolute best lurers, hands down. If you go rogue, and end up really enjoying it. You are gonna hate barding your way to the cap. Alot of people in Venus are against rogues in parties. But I love them for their lure capabilites. Rogue+fast shot>any tank trying to lure

You'll also enjoy having your party die due to being gimp.

I'm thinking of leaving everything on Poseidon to join Venus, maybe i might. ^^
