So... this is the situation.
You try to build a legit union with friends and so, and what do you get in the end?
Your best friends leave you. Some turn to botting, others just dont want to stay and you dont know what did you wrong.
And as you check your union for who is legit who isnt, you find others to be hipocrite who are shouting "im legit", but have no problem with botters in guild and so.
Yesterday i banned from our union 2 of the greatest guild becoz of bot support, irresponsibility, and so on.
Right now i feel like an emo:)
And all of this in 1 fakin month.
farked up is this.
My question:
Did you have had any similar experience? What did you do?
Coz i need right now any help i can. I have to rebuild a whole union from ashes...

I never start anything I always hop the bandwagon or start it up with good r/l friends or good sro friends, never alone.
Legit is hard, making a legit union is harder, just man up take it on the chin and find a already suitable union or come to Pluto and we'll own.
PS -- If you really want Legit join a Venus union.
EDIT -- Was this best friend r/l? If so, what a dick.

The difference between success and failure is the state of mind. Never give up, never give in. Always stay true to yourself and your cause. When things get hard, you keep at it. Thats the only way to win.

Choices are hard, whether to go with them and keep them as close friends, or start over and buildup a legit union again.
Luckily i've never faced that yet, but friendship > game

Pretty much, I will always pick friends over SRO.
Also in the same light, Bro's before Hoe's.

Eldorado legit union?
If you are prepared to have an inactive union then you can possibly try..... Be realistic there aint much legit left there, is playing all alone and fighting against the huge sea of botters what you want and even worthwhile at all??? Think of all the pissed off moments you will be enduring grrr
Just just a step back and be proud of what you are... that will be an achievement good enough
Otherwise, Venus is waiting for you

dont try too hard. it's a frikkin' game. it's more important the type of people that are in your guild. no assholes. folks that can get along with 1 another and are fun to do stuffs together and chat.

You see, im a bullheaded person.
This is my _home_ here are my friends and it matters not if they bot, they are my friends. I wont leave this server.
Its just, becoz i gave them rules and they broke these rules, i banned them or before botting they bade me farewell and quitted... and they are the best ppl i know. At least, they have a spine.
EDIT&typos:
They had personal issues about irl stuff like job, work, new gf etc.
I can understand them but still... all the things i explained them were useless in a way. If i have no time, i just leave the game. I dont bot, becoz it takes away the fun.
IMHO <- its a big imho.
And they were friends from online.

Well, you can always fight an uphill battle and a get union going, ask around SRF, see who have chars on your server.
Good luck man.
PS - But seriously, your friends are harsh for leaving you.

As a Guild Leader you must be calm and assertive. Sometimes you may lose your cool, sometimes you may be disheartened, but you have a role. That role involves difficult decisions and those decisions will typically pit your principles and morals against your friends&comrades. Rule#1 of being a guild leader. Be a leader first and friend second. Rule two, Be prepared to put your leadership responsibilities above those of friendship. Sometimes you must make sacrifices you may not like, as SG says:
one does what one must
Some have what it takes to put them self one step ahead. Consider a botter a botter and nothing more, consider a bot supporter a bot supporter and nothing more. Be ready; you must remove yourself from the equation. You are no longer a friend, follower, sheep; you're a leader.
In game Leadership responsibilities > Ingame friendships. Well, at least if you want to be taken seriously as a competitive guild. In the beginning it will be tough but every union has a rough phase; just ride it out. Kick inactive players and cheaters. Friend or not, you're now a Leader and there is no time for biases.
In the end you will have a select group of people that you know you can trust. These are the people you give storage and withdraw rights to. The rest will be your army, you can trust them to fight and defend the guild, but don't expect them to stay trustworthy forever. As a Leader you will have far less friends than the average player, that's just how the cookie crumbles.

This is exactly what i tried to teach them.
(300 kicks in

)
"To never give up, never surrender"
But also i have my limits.
And as i see this topic now, im an emo(geez man, dont try this, it sucks)
Right now, right here.
Still, question:
Did you exeperienced similar cases before and what happened there?

Last time that happened I wasn't the leader and he decided to Give up and start botting. I decided to quit and play 9 dragons until Europe came out at which point the leader decided to stop botting and wanted me to lead the European guild. Which I did until I could not find a single active legit to join (all botters, casuals, and plvled twats). I quit until November/December (Venus opened).

First, ask yourself want do u want? U want an union because u want to have more friends, because they are the same legit as u, or because u want to have a strong union?
What is more important to u: the power, the friendship or the status of the union (bot/legit)

Being a leader is hard sometimes, me and my friends started playing this game and they wanted me to make the guild and lead the guild i set up the rules no botting no scamming etc after a few months one of my friends started botting and i kicked him from the guild some of my friends called me pathetic for kicking my friend from the guild Because he broke the rules, but whats more pathetic me kicking my friend from the guild ? or my friend not respecting me and my rules ? being a leader is hard sometimes but a good leader will always be a leader first and a friend second
( Atleast thats my opinion )

Tyvm for your opinions, advices.
I was upset coz i teached almost anything i know for them.
And this isnt what pissed me off.
It was 1 or 2 from my friends, late guildmates who misused this knowledge... this pisses me off greatly.
*sigh*
Right now i have to compensate the damage they done to hotan market.
(look for abnormal quantities of earth6, water6 on market)
Yours truly (>_<)

As a leader the Union comes first, that is what separates a leader from the heard. Strong principles and charisma. You need management skills, the ability to work with others, and you must be ready to make sacrifices for the union.
