I've quit SRO for a good time now. I still think its a good game, had a lovely little legit community of our own on Greece and I had hell of a time for 2 years and got to know lots of friends online and IRL because of SRO and my guild.

But I haven't logged on for like...1.5 years. And chances are:
1) I got hacked (again)
2) I got banned (for no reason)
3) My char is still there but will be banned soon (for no reason)

It just leaves me feeling so depressed knowing that they just delete characters I spend a lot of time on. Whenever I log back on in a game I quit, I kind of expect some of my friends to be on, go on a little trade, or something.

Now I'm so afraid to install SRO again and check my char =( What should I do.

there is nothing to be scared about, look on the bright side if they ban or block you, just restart a new character. You can lvl up faster now with the new party sytem.

Well you can always keep the Installer, for iSRO but delete the game, so you don't have to do the whole dl the shiznit all over again.




Still, chances are that being banned/hacked/scammed is going to happen, and that fear is going to prevent you from doing what you want most

Nope... char was still here after leaving it for 2 years. Of course Xian is a much busier server... hence why I made a new char on Saturn.

All these ppl claiming they did nothing obviously did something. If your char is clean and u havent dont anything againist the TOS ur fine. It will stay for 1year if it has silk it will stay forever. But if u read the TOS for silk you have 1 year to use your silk or it goes away then your char will get banned cuz no silk + 1 year = ban as long as JM follows through.

OT: just check, i mean worst that would happen is its baned/deleted and you just dont play. not a big deal you been not playing for how long now? seriously. btw my friend got grounded for a week onetime and when she came back her char was gone. idk if it was deleted (she said it was but i dont buy it)i think she accidently deleted it and didnt know before she got grounded. so by the time she came back it had been 7days already.

I guess this comes down to "why" you played sro. Did you play to have fun and acquire everlasting memories of happy times, or to simply have your character exist?

Even if they delete your character they can never delete your memories and the bonds you had with the people you befriended. If you ask me, thats what really matters.
