When JM first started these bot bans we wouldn't have server traffic all week 24/7. However now there is still traffic even the very next day! Is JM just not banning as many bots as before or are gold companies becoming more efficient in producing new bots?

Probably creating accounts ahead of time, who knows.

actually even if goldbots stop farming gold there would be enough gold for sale liek for 1 year, there is guy in my server who got over 200b ( he sell gold for gold companies ) I think JM ban less goldbots and more old unused chars. Also ppl run morei clients ( as free clientless is out for like 2 months now )

Because bot companies will give birth to fresh, level 1 gold bots who then manifest the servers.

No. he doesn't have over 200b. And the clientless is free, but you can't bot with it, except login and people use it to plvl academy chars. It's simple as that, silkroad online gold demand is huge, they got thousand of backup accounts, banning bots does NOT help, especially if they can make 1k new accounts in few hours. There is no point in banning goldbots, because they will simple make new chars.

Exactly. Don't ban the gold bots. Ban the masters and buyers. Just FYI don't hold your breath till joymax does this. I do not want to be responsible for you going to the hospital.

The bans are helping a LOT on oasis, I can get in on 3 tries or less like all week.

In your case its better, but yet people continue to bot/buy gold/farm gold/scam....so basically nothing important changed.

Yes he does he is one of these ppl who run clientlesss bots, he does it for few years now.

I didn't believe myself until 1 guy send me screen shot, he bought gold from him ( 2$ for 100m )

Yup if the bots were ran by a few companies it would take them a bit to re-create them all but you all are lucky. Since your fellow bot players run them they can recreate them faster than a few companies and there by keep the gold supply steady and worthless. And joymax will never ban such important people.

The problem is that on all the servers the "non gold bots" bots are now cap 90 and reinstalled the legit server ^^

i get the feeling that the recent bot bans are getting less effective than it first started. could it be the gold bot programs are less detectable by jm?

It's simple, it takes max few hours to remake those banned accounts..enjoy your traffic.

they bought silk for each of their accounts, i think ive said this before in this thread or maybe in another, but i know a chinese guy that spent $2500 on 500 of his gold bot farmer accounts (that's $5 of silk each) to avoid the future bans, and it worked. So you have those gold bots running around + the new ones being made by the thousands in jangan killing mangyangs again.

i was umm doing a trade run and then i started drooping gold at mangan(omfg i dun remember how to spell the mob name) and i had over 2o bots there i was gonna take a screen shot i tried i was facing the wrong way and it dced fyi i never bought gold or bot
