Your thoughts on Grains

I was wondering what the rest of the community felt about grains in general. For those who dont know grains = 25% recovery of hp,mp, or both.

Since vigor grains are now available from npc ( at a price of 1mil for 50), soon we will probably have hp and mp grains avaiable.

But anyway, my question is what do u think of grains in general. Do they ruin the game being able to get that much hp/mp/both back and have such a short delay? (only 3 secs)

It's a 4 sec delay, but it was already a spamfest and with the amount of gold being bought I'm sure they can affored a few mil for a few stacks >.> This will make it worse I think.

For chinese XL vigor pots recover health quicker. This just means that all the gold buying euros got a whole lot stronger. Also, I would assume this would make HP Grains much more valuable due to rarity....Spamming 2 grains every 3 seconds you can tank pretty well.

OT: yes i agree but this will also make euros harder to kill. I think this update puts players who dont have alot of gold at a disadvantages cuz a 50 stack of grains does not last that long in a jw/fw or even pvp.

I think they are too readily avaliable now that they are NPC. Too many people will spam them and now you cant sell them for 2m per stack in the stall. Btw congrats on keeping the fort H20 Union.

+1, i think if they throw in HP/MP grains also...euros shouldnt even have a pot delay basically, so yea...it looks from here on out..euros will dominate

Meh, who cares. Euros with vigor grains have died before and they still will. Most people ask that in pvp, you refrain from using vigors in the first place, so the only place you'll see them spammed much is in fort wars, job wars, and guild wars. You'll blow through them like no other as well. Gold buying or not, it will become an expensive habbit, so who cares? Most people use them as an emergency stash anyways, and those that had plenty of gold to spend in the first place, used to buy them from the market. So what are you guys all whining about? The only thing that changes here is that now vigor grains are more readily available and that on servers where the economy is relatively screwie, you will no longer be able to sell them for 1m+.

1m pills... how many people actually spend their money on those? Most find them too expensive to keep around at all times. Vigor grains won't even last close to as long as the 1m pills do. Honestly, I think you guys are just exagerating the effects the adding of vigors to the npc will have on the game.

Everyone has used them before, this doesn't change ANYTHING.
I've never run out of vigor grains, I pick them myself and when I get low on them I buy them from stall network for 200~500k.
Like hell I'm going to pay 1m / 50.
I don't see what the big deal is, joymax put something in the game that you could already buy for half the price , goodgame? who cares.

i used to & still is picking up vigor grains/pots, cuz i like to spam them in job/guild/fortress wars...usually not pvp, cuz there's really no gain from it, just a gauge of how well u do against another person 1v1 or so

but now, i guess it gives me a right to spam vigor in all pvp

set auto pot w/ hp pot to like 85% or so...then use a grain when ur hp hit arnd 50% or so => almost invincible

lets see 25% HP heal out of 30k HP is 7500 HP every 4 sec. Xlarge vigors 820*4 for Xlarge is 3280 HP

I doubt people would just completely give up on them... I'd say all the high levels will load up on them as they laugh at the 1 mil/50 price (damn rich people...) anyway... yeah. But I do agree with you, the lower level and less rich people will probably use less seeing as players will increase the price seeing as its still under the NPC price at 900k/50

Grains help STR characters much more than INT's ...
Anyway ... this brings Rogues and Wizards more down ... since they relay on fast killing...
Brings Bladers up ... they cant kill now at all , nor can be killed...

After reading some posts here ... It aint big problem ... Only FW-s will be spammed with them.

yeah... grains only help str chars since its 25% of hp and ints just plain don't have enough hp for grains to heal much

I don't know what the **** you're all crying about, but when 80 cap was around, I would get owned by a chinese char in about 2-3 hits with the vigor grains, and my auto pot was set for 85%. Of course I could one hit them for 30K+ crit, but thats beside the point.

Joymax keeps ruining this game.
First they started with Premium Tickets, then Premium Plus
and now Vigors in npc. They just keep setting the people with
loads of money to spend apart.

I would love to play this game but there's no way in hell I'm paying $20+
to be competitive in pvp.
