Fraud on Block Punishment!!!

Hi guys, well I open this topic because JM just banned me a old, but legit account "metalxdragon"
And today after the sever weekenly inspection I tried to log in, but the block message appear on my screen... WHAT I CAN DO?!... nothing. I just want justice as I asume many of you also want... OK JM is fighting against bots, I have not any problem with it, but why also ban legit accounts?... Also, do JM really ban botter who buys silk?... a lot of ppl says, BUY SILK! U WON'T GET BANNED!... another mistery... It's just JM want us happy showing big bots list with banned accounts? no checking properly before ban anyone?... other games have data bases that shows who is really botting an WHO DON'T!...
Well btw I will tell my story:

I created metalxdragon, like 2 years ago.. (my first acc BTW)
I use to play with some characters in it, but I changed to other accounts (not banned BTW).
Like 2 months ago I created a rouge X-bower called: XSirThalasX (I asume JM thought that was a botter by the name, Idk) in Pluto, then I quited that char.
I started other in the same sever, but with other account. (I played both accounts on the same computer)
2 days ago, I started to play that rouge, I PASSED a WHOLE NIGHT lvling it!... also I was playing it before the inspection (EVEN played CTF many times in the last 2 days, HOW A BOTTER WOULD PLAY CTF EVENT?!!!).
well... now u know the rest... why XSirThalasX got banned?... who knows..
I never bought silk, I never botted!
You can see him banned on the list...

JM doesn't have real reason on who they are banning, i begin to wonder if it really is random.
Theres really no pattern either on who they ban and who they don't, they simply do because they can and want to generate large numbers of banned chars.

Ya, sad about all who got banned without no reason but, every1 who will press "no" opinion think how mutch work JM is doing to make ur gaming experience better.
33k bots banned, thats big number, i bet they don't have any automated system to figure whose are the goldbots and who is not. There are people working and banning the bots by the name so that's why there is and will be those "little" mistakes.

Try send bug report about ur ban, and luckily some1 will read it or maybe not.

Isn't anyone taking networking 101 these days? A MAC address is only used within a given IP network. Any router in the link between the two computers will replace the MAC address with its own MAC address, because packets are unpacked down to IP level. The only MAC address the iSRO servers see is the one from their own router.

That is called a layer 2 rewrite. JM can still retrieve your MAC if they want to, and from whats been posted on the forums here, I believe they do.

lol yes they are doing a good job, but ofc it could be better (high lvl paying bots should be banned)

and no, I don't think Joymax picks the banned users by hand
It is surely an automated system and its quite simple

let me give you examples how easy it is:

nodc - Loader: the account tries to connect to the server again and again, much quicker than a normal user could, lets say the normal user takes 30 seconds and the nodc person can try every 15 seconds
joymax runs a prog over their log files, user identified, he can try to connect every 15 seconds zomg! - identified!

bots - as far as I know those bots dont control the mouse, so it is obviously packet based, at some point the bot will send wrong packets, minor bugs in the program, joymax can decide whether these wrong packets cause a disconnect or if they just tolerate it, to figure out who keeps sending wrong packets every once. ~ again, they can run a prog over their log files, users identified

clientless ~ same thing as above applies, with the difference that the client normal people use gets regular updates, and may send new packets by itself in a newer version, or the packet format just gets modified a bit (remember when gold bots didnt pick up their gold anymore for a day or so?) - again - log files checking - users identified

anything that interacts with the game is sooo easy to figure out for JM, they just dont ban their paying costumers, except if they want to make an example, so the others are scared and buy a bit more silk so that they are safe

people i know surprise me again and again when I hear about what kinda stuff they use related to sro, no its not just bots.

it could be better by banning some obvious player bots and more goldbots, but theyre doing a pretty good job. tibet got a little over 1000 banned this week.

I think they're doing a pretty good job with the bot bans. However, it would be even better if we'd start seeing some high level player bots, especially capped sun bots, banned. I know someone that moved from Venice to Zeus and within a few months was capped at 80. She even told me she botted it. So far, I haven't seen her on a ban list.

Well... votes say the truth.. JM is doing a good job banning botters, but It's far to be a perfect job... Reading some other topics I see that many people got banned legits accounts and nobody knows why... anyway in that acc I just like 5m, so I have to smile and forget...
